Van x Reader

You and Van had been dating for 2 months now. You still can't comprehend it. You like him, but you can't tell him that. That's way too embarrassing. 

"Hey Y/N-chan." Van said, startling you. "Wah!" You were lost in thought so you didn't even notice him walk up. "You're so cute." He said with a smile. Your heart started to beat faster. "Idiot! Don't say something like that." You felt that your face was bright red. He put a hand on your head. "Alright, cutie." He said. "I have things to do, goodbye." You started to walk away, then you felt your wrist grabbed. "Wait, do you want to go by that cat cafe you like?" He asked. You loved cat cafe's. "Fine I'll go, just let go of me idiot." 

~Time skip~

You just finished up some paper work when you heard a knock on your door. You went over and opened it, it was Van. "Are you free to go now?" He asked. "Yeah, I just finished up." You answered. You both walked to the cafe. 

At the cafe you played with the cats. "Awww, your all so cute. I love you so much." You said happily to the cats. Van gave you a look of surprise. You felt your face get really red. "What, am I not allowed to like cats." You said. "No, that's not it." 

You both were walking back from the cafe. Van had been awfully quiet the whole time, which was unlike him. "Do you want to stop by the park?" He asked. You were worried, he's been acting strange. He wasn't going to break up with you, was he? Had he finally had enough of your attitude. "Sure." You replied. 

It was a silent walk through the park, then all of a sudden your foot slipped. You fell into the pond that was by the path. It was summer, so it wasn't cold. But it was still unpleasant. "Are you okay Y/N-chan." He asked, reaching his hand out to you. You took it because you didn't want to embarrass yourself trying to get out. He helped you out of the water. Even though it was summer, there was a breeze so you were cold. "Let's go ba-" You were cut off by something touching your lips. Van pulled away as your eyes widened, he had kissed you. "I love you Y/N." Your first kiss. The first time he told you he loved you. The first time he called you by just your name. So many firsts were making your face red. "Sorry, I just had to tell you. I've been trying all day." He said. You kissed him. "I-I love you too. Idiot." You said with a red face. 

That night you walked back, hand in hand with Van.

Sorry if you don't like cat's/are allergic to them. I love cats :).  I have two scenario's to work on, I've started one of them though. But I thought a Oneshot would be refreshing. I hope you enjoyed! Van used to be one of my least favorite in Heavens, but now that I've written about him he's growing on me.  I have something new and experimental planned for the next part.
