It was spring, and you had plans to see the cherry blossoms with Reiji.
He had said he would pick you up, so you were waiting outside your apartment. His car arrived and he drove you to the cherry blossoms.
You were walking hand in hand with Reiji to the blossoms. "You've been awfully quiet today Reiji." You said. He hadn't spoke to you this entire time. "Sorry, there's something on my mind." He replied. "Want to talk about it?" "No, thank you though." You finally arrived at the cherry blossoms. Your mouth hung open in awe. "There so beautiful." You said. "Yeah they are, but there's something more beautiful." He replied. "The sky?" "No." "The flowers?" "No" "Then what is it?" You said, defeated. "You." He said. You felt your face heat up. He took your hand and got down on one knee. "I love you so much Y/N. You are so beautiful, inside and out." He took out a small box, and opened it revealing a ring. "Will you marry me?" You had no idea he was going to ask that. Your face was heated and your heartbeat quickened. "Y-Yes." You said. He put the ring on your finger. He then wrapped you in an embrace and kissed you. "I love you Reiji." "I love you too my girl."
You were so happy that night as Reiji drove you home. You looked forward to the things to come with your betrothed.
