You were a student at Saotome Academy. You dreamed to become an idol that would make your fans smile. You loved to sing, but there was one problem. Your teacher, his name was Ichinose Tokiya. And he wasn't all that much older than you. You've never passed a single one of his singing assignments. But he also keeps you from being kicked out. The reason you never passed a singing assignment was the worst part of it. "You need to sing with your heart. You'll never reach your listeners if you don't put emotion in your singing." That's what he always said. No matter how often he told you, you could never fix it. You just didn't know-how. It frustrated you that you couldn't do something so simple. Would you never be able to do it? You bumped into someone.

This is why you don't go into deep thought while walking down the hall. "I'm sorry." You said. You looked up. Your heart sank as you saw who it was. It was Tokiya-sensei. "It's fine. How's your singing coming along?' He asked. You looked down. "It's going well." You lied. "You have a good singing voice. You just need to put emotion into it." He said. Emotion this, emotion that. How are you even supposed to do that? "Yes, Tokiya-sensei." "I know you can do it, Y/N." Then he walked away. You went back to your dorm.

You sat on your bed thinking, how do you put emotion in your singing? Is there something wrong with you? What if you get kicked out? Why does Tokiya-sensei believe in you anyway? What if you can't do it? What if you let him down? The thoughts consumed your head. You needed a breath of fresh air.

You made your way outside. Perhaps a walk would clear your head. After walking a bit, you heard a voice. It was beautiful singing. The singing was familiar, but you couldn't remember where. Such a sorrowful song. Such emotion. You made your way closer. You spotted the person singing it was Tokiya-sensei. A tear rolled down your face as he finished. He looked over to you.

"What are you doing out here so late?" He asked as he walked closer. "Why are you crying?" He asked. You whipped your eyes. "I'm not crying." You said. "H-How do you put so much emotion in your singing Tokiya-sensei." You asked. "You have to sing from the heart." He said. You hated that kind of advice. How were you even supposed to do that? "Yeah." You said, unable to hide the anger in your voice. "You have to write lyrics that you can put emotion into." You didn't answer. He leaned closer to you. "Say you lost someone and wrote a song about it. You have to put the pain you felt in your voice." He said. "I've never lost anyone." You replied. "Then say you're in love." Your heartbeat quickened. "I've never-" You cut yourself off. "Why do you believe in me, Tokiya-sensei?" You asked. His eyes met yours. "You're special." He said. Your heartbeat quickened even more. "I-I should get back inside. You should too, Tokiya-sensei. It's cold." You said. Then you walked away.

Tokiya's POV

That girl is special. She was just like I was. I'm sure she'll find someone who shows her the way. Just like Haruka was for me.

Your POV

You made it back in your dorm room. Your roommate had gotten back while you were gone and was already asleep. Your heart was beating so fast. What was this feeling? And why did Tokiya-sensei initiate it? He said you were special. What does that even mean? Tokiya's words came to your mind. Say you're in love. Love. There's no way. There's no way you're in love with Tokiya-sensei.

You started to freak out. You've put a name on your feeling. But what do you do now? Even if he's only a few years older than you, he's a teacher. This emotion was so overwhelming. Emotion. You remembered a song that your composer partner gave you that you two didn't use. You sat down at your desk and listened to it. It's perfect. You took a piece of paper and began to write lyrics.

You woke up at your desk. Your back hurt like crazy, but the lyrics were finished. You wanted to practice. But school came first. So you got ready for school.

~After school~

You sat at your desk. You just stared at the lyrics. You were nervous to practice. What if nothing changed? What if these feelings aren't even real? What if... "You've been looking at that for the past 4 hours. Maybe you should take a walk." Said your roommate. They were right. Looking at it wouldn't help anything.

You went outside. Your legs took you to the place you encountered Tokiya-sensei the other night. He wasn't there. Why would he be? Why did you want to see him that badly? You looked up at the sky. What a beautiful night. You took a deep breath and began to sing.

It was different. Your voice sounded different. Singing felt different. You could feel your love in every word. You finished singing. You heard clapping. Your heartbeat quickened. You turned around. It was Tokiya-sensei.

He walked closer to you. He had a smile on his face. "You finally did it. This is one step closer to your dreams. Good job." He said. "it's all thanks to you." You said, looking down. "It was you who was able to do it." He replied. "I wouldn't have been able to if it wasn't for you." You said. You wanted to tell him. No, you needed to tell him. Your eyes met. "I love you, Tokiya-sensei." His eyes widened. He cleared his throat and regained his composure. "I don't think I heard you correctly." He said. "I love you." You said again. "I'm your teacher Y/N." He said. You smiled. "I know." You remembered Tokiya-sensei's words. Say you're in love. You made up your mind right there and then. You loved Tokiya-sensei. And you weren't going to give up. Your eyes met again. You smiled. "That doesn't mean you're off the hook."

I didn't make him flirty in this one because I got another request for a flirty teacher Tokiya. I hope it doesn't seem awkward in the story. Sorry if it isn't all that good. I have never written anything like this before. I also didn't know if I should put sensei at the end of Tokiya's name. I thought that if I didn't, then it would seem like he was just a peer. I hope it didn't make it weird. I hope you still enjoyed! Sorry, this took so long SwapanBiswas4. I thank you for your patience. I'm sorry to all my readers as well. I haven't been posting as often. Thank you so much for reading! Bye-bye
