Shion x Reader (Birthday Oneshot)

You had just finished packing up the party stuff when you noticed Shion was gone. You figured you knew where he was so you walked outside. He was exactly where you thought he would be. Laying on the ground staring up at the stars. You didn't say anything as you laid beside him. "Thank you for today." You heard Shion say. "It wasn't just me, but you're welcome. I got to see you smile today, that made it all worth it." You looked over at Shion. He was looking at you. "I've never felt this way about anyone else." You felt your face heat up. You didn't normally hear this sort of stuff from Shion. He stood up, you followed and stood up as well. 

He all of a sudden hugged you. "Heavens used to be the only people I had. Then I met you, your smile brings me happiness. The times when I used to look at the stars, I found myself thinking about you. I love you." You face was a bright red. He is rarely this forward about his feelings. "I love you too Shion." He let go of you and stepped back. "I have been thinking about this for a while now, but I couldn't find the right time." He grabbed your hand and got down on one knee. "Y/N L/N, will you marry me?" You felt your eyes widen from shock. You hoped this day would come, but you weren't prepared for it to be so sudden. You didn't want him waiting for an answer any longer. "Of course." Tears of happiness streamed down your face. He slipped a ring on your finger that you didn't even notice he had. 

He once again wrapped his arms around you. "I love you Shion." "I love you too. Thank you for giving me the most wonderful birthday present." He then kissed you under the stars. It was his birthday, but you got the most magnificent gift.

Shion is super out of character. But I hope you enjoyed anyway! Thank you so much for reading! You, yes you reading this story. You mean so much to me.
