Van Birthday Oneshot

"Will you spend tomorrow with me?" Van asked. "No." You replied. "Please." He said holding your hands. "Let go of me! Why do you want me to spend it with you so bad?" You asked with a red face. "Because it's my birthday." Van said, moving closer to you. "Fine, I give in." You said. He wrapped his arms around you. "Thank you Y/N. You've made me happy." He whispered into your ear. "Let go of me." You said. He complied and let go. "I'm sorry I forgot." You whispered. "What was that?" He asked. "Nothing!" You said with a red face.

~Time skip to the next day~

You had woken up super early to get ready. You waited in front of the door as soon as you had finished getting ready. In about an hour you heard a knock on the door. You waited a bit to make it seem like you had walked over to the door. You opened it, it was Van. "You look beautiful." He said. "Shut up." He grabbed your hand. "Let's go then." 

You two walked into town. It was an extra cold December so there weren't a lot of people walking around. Your eyes fell upon a cafe. They were advertising hot cocoa on the window. It looked so good. "Do you want some?" Van asked. You felt your face heat up. "No, I'm fine." You replied. He led you towards the cafe anyway. You two walked in.

He bought two cups of cocoa and brought them over to the table you were sitting at. He sat down across from you and handed you a cup. "Thank you." You whispered. "You're welcome Y/N." Van said with a smile. You felt your face heat up. You didn't think he had heard you. You took a sip of the hot cocoa. "It's delicious." You accidentally said out loud. "I'm glad you like it." Van said. You quietly finished the rest of your cocoa.

You two were now walking through the park. You felt something cold fall on your nose. You looked up. It was snowing. "Y/N." Van said. You turned to look at him. "Yes?" "Thank you for coming today." He said. You felt your face heat up. "I only came because it was your birthday." He wrapped his arms around you. "That still makes me happy." "Does it?" You asked. "Every moment I spend with you makes me happy." "You're an idiot." You felt tears of happiness well up. "But I guess you're my idiot." You continued. "I love you Y/N." "I love you too." He then kissed you. 

You two were standing there. His arms were wrapped around your waist. There was snow in both of you two's hair. Illuminated only by a street light. You two broke from each other. "Happy birthday idiot."
