"A vacation?" You asked. "Yep." Hayato replied with a smile. "Well, since you rarely get days off, I don't see why not. Where to?" You asked. "It's a secret ~nya" Hayato said with a wink. It made you a bit uneasy to not know where you were going, but this was Hayato. He had been a good friend of yours for a while now. "Can I have a climate at least?" You asked. "Warm, make sure to bring a bathing suit ~nya." Hayato said happily. "Okay." You said, with a small chuckle at his smile. "Now, it's not your day off yet. Get back to work." You said, with a smile.

That was the conversation you had with Hayato a couple weeks ago. Now was finally the time of your vacation. And you were currently waiting for Hayato at the airport, suitcase in hand. "Good morning! Are you ready to go? ~nya" Hayato asked as he ran over. "Yep!" You said happily. You and Hayato boarded the plane. And it shortly took off. "So, are you going to tell me where we are going?" You asked. "You'll find out soon ~nya" Hayato said.

~Short time skip~

You were staring at the building with your mouth open. It was the largest hotel you had ever seen. You felt a hand move to your jaw and close your mouth. "Wouldn't want to catch flies ~nya" Hayato said. "Oh-" You shut your mouth and just nodded. "What do you think?" Hayato asked. "It's amazing. Really amazing. It's like the hotels that you would only see on TV." You said, looking back to stare at it once more. Then a realization hit you. "Wait, isn't this expensive? You said it was all weekend. That has to be a lot." You said worriedly. "I brought you here because I want to be with you here. ~nya Do you not want the same?" He asked, cutely tilting his head. "That's not what I meant!" You said quickly. "It's just- I-" You sighed in defeat. "Thank you, Hayato." You said, with a smile. "Let's go!" Hayato said, grabbing your hand. And then he led you into the hotel.

If the outside was impressive, then the inside must have been stunning. It was more beautiful than you could have ever imagined. You noticed your mouth hanging open again and quickly shut it. You stayed quiet as Hayato checked in with the receptionist. Even the receptionist's outfit screamed stunning. This place didn't even feel real. "Earth to Y/N ~nya" You heard Hayato say. You were so absorbed by the place that you zoned out. "Sorry!" You said. You handed your bag to the Porter who was waiting. Then you followed Hayato, who was following one of the hotel workers.

The elevator ride to the room was quick. "Thank you for staying with us. I hope you enjoy your time here." The worker said, and then they walked away. Hayato used the key that he had gotten from the receptionist to open the door. Your mouth hung open again at the sight of the room. The places just kept getting more and more amazing! This wasn't a hotel room. It felt like a whole luxurious apartment! "Do you want to go in?" Hayato asked with a smile. You shut your mouth with embarrassment and walked into the room. Did he get to see things like this on a normal basis?

You had just finished putting your things away in the room Hayato said was yours. You walked out into the main room and saw Hayato. "Just in time ~nya. What would you like for dinner?" Hayato asked. Dinner? You didn't even realize that it was that time already. "Hmm, what do you want?" You asked. After a bit of light arguing over who would pick, you two both came to a decision. Room service quickly brought the food to the room.

You sighed as you looked at your empty plate. "How am I ever supposed to repay you for this?" You asked. "Huh?" Hayato asked with another one of those cute head tilts. "I can't just accept all this without returning the favor." You said. Hayato smiled. "I'm not doing this for something in return. I'm also not trying to buy you with gifts. I'm doing this to make you happy." You felt your heartbeat quicken. "T-Thank you." You said. You for sure were going to try and make this up to him after that. "Let's go somewhere! Put on your bathing suit ~nya" Hayato said. "Now? Isn't it kinda late?" You asked. "It won't be a problem." Hayato said with a smile. "Alright." You replied with a smile.

You put on your bathing suit and some clothes as a cover-up and walked out of your room. "Let's go!" Hayato said happily, grabbing your hand. You followed him out of the room and down the elevator. "Oh yeah, close your eyes." Hayato said. You weren't even going to try and question him. You closed your eyes. Hayato put his arm around you to guide you better. Your heartbeat quickened. Why does he make you feel this way?

"You can open your eyes ~nya" You opened your eyes. It was a hot spring. How on earth could this hotel get any better?!? Hayato began to pull off his shirt. You felt your face redden and you turned away. Why were you like this? He's just wearing a bathing suit. (Listen, hot springs are normally depicted as places for bathing, but this feels more comfortable.) You slowly lifted your hand to your shirt to get down to your bathing suit too. After taking your cover-up off, you took a deep breath and turned around. Your face immediately reddened even further. "Let's get in ~nya" Hayato said happily.

You were now in the hot spring. Right beside Hayato. Your face was red and your heartbeat was quick. You told yourself that it was because of the heat. "Are you feeling alright?" Hayato asked. "Y-Yeah." You replied quickly. You shifted away from him. "Thank you for all of this." You said. "You're welcome. It makes me happy too, being here with you." "Hayato, what does being in love feel like?" You asked randomly. WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU ASK SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!? You felt your heartbeat quicken further while awaiting his response. "Hmm. You get suddenly uneasy around the person. You feel a strong urge to make them happy. Oh, and also the obvious ones like your face getting red and your heartbeat quickening around them." Hayato replied. That's exactly what's happening to you. "I-Is there someone you're in love with?" You asked. "Yep. ~nya" Your heart sank. But you needed to get these feelings out.

"Hayato." You said, turning towards him. "Yeah?" It was only now that you realized how close he was. You could easily reach out and grab his hand. And his face as meer inches away from yours. "I- I- I-" You couldn't get it out. Just then, a hand closed around your own. It was Hayato. He had grabbed your hand. "What's wrong?" He asked. "I think I love you, Hayato." You said. His eyes widened, but he quickly regained his composure. "You think? Ouch." He said jokingly with a smile. "Well, it's just that I only noticed this now. I couldn't really put a name to it. But all of what you said about being in love fits what I feel. And it's really bad to say this now after you did all this for me since it kinda seems like that's the only reason I'm saying this. You're also a good friend that I don't want to lose. And you said that you loved someon-"

Your panicked words were cut off by something against your lips. Hayato was kissing you! He pulled away from the kiss. "You don't have to freak out so much. The person I love is you ~nya." He said with a smile. Your heart felt like it was beating a mile a minute. He reached over and grabbed your other hand. "I love you, Y/N." You smiled. "I feel the same. I love you, Hayato." You leaned closer to him. "Thank you. For everything." And then he kissed you again.

I have decided that what I was writing takes way longer than I expected. So I'm just going to work on that bit by bit but still put out normal Oneshots. (Hopefully, it should be out within a week or two. Thank you for your patience) Also, WOOOOO! We reached 10k reads! What a wonderful birthday present! (My B-day was March 27th. Which may or may not have to do with what I was writing) Thank you so so so much for reading! You'll never know how much this means to me!
