(I apologize for there not being a picture drawn by me.)

"Maybe...Or maybe...Ooh, I know!...No that wouldn't work." You sighed. You've been scrolling through your phone for 3 hours. You were trying to figure out something to get Kira for his birthday. But no matter how hard you looked, you couldn't find anything. You asked Eiichi and Nagi since they've known him for a long time. They both said something along the lines of just go with the "I'm your present" thing. There was absolutely no way you were confident to do something like that. Just thinking about it made you flustered. Just then, you came across a site on your phone. You read the title "The best gift to get your boyfriend for his birthday." You eagerly opened the site. "We all know how hard it is to pick out a gift for a loved one. You want to make a good impression while still being practical. And money is a big restraint too." Yada yada yada. Can it get to the answer already? "Here it is! The answer to solve all your problems. Just look at him cutely and say these words. "I'm your present." It works every time!" You dropped your phone in defeat. Was this really what it'd have to come to? You looked in a nearby mirror and put on your cutest face. "I-I-I'm your p-p-present." You sighed and covered yourself with your blanket. That was the worst thing you've ever seen. You'd have to find something else.

A few days passed, and you started to panic. Kira's birthday was rapidly approaching. And you still had no idea what to do. You sighed as you walked down the street. You could get him something practical. Like, new cooking or cleaning stuff. But you got him something like that in previous years. You wanted to give him something special. You could buy him clothes, but those would just degrade over time. You could frame a picture of you two and give it to him. But he's out of his house a lot, so he wouldn't see it often. You two have been dating for 5 years, yet you still struggle like this. Alright. You just need to think slowly through it. What does he like? Well, he likes cooking, HEAVENS, and... "That's it!" You said aloud. Everyone around you looked at you. You felt your face grow red from embarrassment. But, even so, you couldn't wipe the smile from your face as you rushed away.

~The day of Kira's birthday. Around 7 pm~

You and the members of HEAVENS had planned a surprise party for Kira at your apartment. Now, after hours of party, you were wondering if you should give Kira his present. But with the other members here, it might be awkward. Almost as if he read your mind, Van spoke. "Well, I guess you two probably want to spend some alone time together." He winked at you. "We should head out." You felt your face heat up. "Gross. Yeah, we should leave. Bye-bye." Nagi said. You heard a few other goodbyes. And then, within the blink of an eye, they were gone.

Almost immediately, Kira got up and started cleaning. "Oh no, it's your birthday. Let me." You said, quickly getting up. Kira gave you a look that screamed, 'Remember last time?' "Oh, come on, it was one small fire. At least let me help." He seemed to approve of that idea, so you got up and started helping him. All throughout the cleaning process, you were thinking about the gift. Would he like it? Would it be too much trouble for him?

"Y/N." You heard, breaking you out of your thoughts. His worry showed in his face. "I'm fine." You said with a smile. "Here, sit down." You said. Once he sat, you went to collect the gift from your room. It was an open box, but the flaps hid the contents of the box.

You went back to the couch and sat beside Kira. "I know I'm terrible at getting gifts. And I wanted to get you something extra special. But no gift can ever express how much I love you." You said with a red face. "But, with some thinking. I thought you might like this." You pushed the box into his lap. "I love you, Kira. Happy Birthday."

"Thank you, Y/N." Kira went to open the box. But before he could pull back the flaps, the contents popped out. You saw Kira's eyes light up as he saw the fluffy, tiny creature. He gently picked it up and sat it in his lap. It was a white bunny. Kira looked up at you. "But-" You cut him off. "Don't worry. I know you don't have a lot of time to take care of it. So I thought, since my hours are less strict, I can come over every day and spend time with him." You held up your right hand. "I promise to take care of him every day unless I meet an emergency." You said like it was an oath. He picked up the bunny gently and held it out to you. "Name?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. You felt your face redden even more. You didn't know who was cuter, Kira or the bunny.

You accepted the bunny from his arms and sat it in your own lap. "It's your gift. You can pick." You said. He looked at the bunny for a bit before he spoke. "Fluffy." You smiled. "I like that name. How about you?" You asked the bunny. The bunny hopped into Kira's lap. "I think that means yes." You said. "You don't," Kira said. "Don't what?" You asked. "Don't have to come over every day." He said.

You thought about what he said for a long time before you finally understood. "Oh no, it's not a trouble." You said with a smile. "You don't have to go anywhere." Kira continued. You were very confused. "Huh?" You asked.

He held out a small box to you. "Marry me. Y/N." He then opened the box. It revealed a beautiful ring with a tiny blue stone in the center of a small silver flower. Your brain didn't process what he said. "Huh?" You asked again. Then it sunk in. He wanted to marry you. Kira, your boyfriend of 5 years, was proposing.

You felt a deep red bloom over your face. He looked at you, waiting for an answer. "You're not fair." He tilted his head. "Yes, I'll marry you. Kira Sumeragi." You said with a smile. "Not fair?" He asked. "Today's your birthday. The day you're supposed to receive. Yet you're giving me such a wonderful gift." You said, a tear rolling down your face as you smile. The bunny hopped off Kira's lap onto the floor. You giggled at how the bunny gave you two space. Kira then slipped the ring on your finger.

"Oh, I get it now. I won't have to go anywhere to take care of Fluffy because you want to move in with me. Right?" You asked. He nodded his head. You couldn't contain your composure anymore. You were just too happy. Tears quickly rolled down your face. He then leaned forward closer to you. "Thank you, Y/N. For everything." He said. "I'm happy." He smiled. Your heartbeat quickened. Then, he kissed you.

Don't worry. While the bunny was waiting, it was with plenty of food and water. No bunnies were harmed in the writing of this oneshot. I guess this one was pretty fluffy. Get it? Yeah, that was bad. But I hoped you liked it! I can definitely tell that I've gone a bit rusty. But even if it isn't worded or portrayed the best, I still like this one. (I wrote this yesterday and I definitely liked it more then.) Thank you so much for reading! Thank you also for your patience during my break. I really appreciate everyone who reads my book. Whether you comment or not. I hope you have a wonderful day/night! I also hope that any stress or worries you have weighing on you right now will be lifted, or at least lightened. I'm terrible at giving advice or comfort. But I can always lend an ear if you need someone to listen. Once again, thank you. Bye-Bye!
