As I poured magic through every part of his body. I compressed every nerve ending were I struck him. Electrified every muscle.

I felt him trash in his sleep. I feel him struggle against the pain. I could sense his desperation to flee. He was beginning to emerge from his sleep.

I pushed him further into sleep.

He fought back hard.

I felt a sharp pain on my lip and felt warm blood trickle down my cheek and throat. A small price to pay for what I would do, what I have done.

I felt his body relax, though he still twitched and moved at the pain.

I closed my eyes.

I saw nothing but an empty blackness. A void in the mind.

I focused my sight, straining across the darkness until I saw dim lights began to spark across my vision.

Instead of a blackness a misty grey washed over everything. I focused on that.

Trying to see what he saw. To feel what he felt.

To be where you were.
