"First, I will test your current knowledge on magic," exclaimed while extended her hand out, "take my hand," said she said.

I uneasily reached out, for a moment I felt unsure and pulled back, only I felt her reach out and grasp me hand.

A moment later, and everything turned dark, time slowed to a crawl, yet passed by in an instant, I felt cold frozen yet consumed by heat and flames, my body contorted, twisted, crushed and squeezed, pulled and stretched, ripped and put back together a thousand times over.

I forcefully closed by eyes, the pain and pleasure, the fear and joy too much to take.

Yet when I closed them shut, I felt grounded in reality, like it was all just a bad dream.

"Cemilan, open your eyes," the Dark One said.

Slowly I opened them.

The world around me was different, we were in the library.

Suddenly, the room began to spin, and my legs began to shake, I felt ill and unsteady. My legs began to give out, but I felt something holding me up.

"Are you alright, I'm sorry, I forgot how jarring transposing can be, sit down for a moment," she said.
