"Now then, I want you to attempt the same thing," she said, folding her arms.
"I'm not sure if I can," I said, looking down at the ring.
"Try!" She growled.
"...alright."
"For now, until you get a better grasp, we will try visualization. Now, close your eyes," she said.
I reluctantly did as she said.
"Place your hand over your heart, listen, and feel its beat."
Once more, I did as she said.
"Now imagine tiny nearly invisible specks, thousands, millions moving and flowing through the air. With each breath, you some them in. They move through your lungs through your heart through your body, once more through your heart and to your lungs and out again,"
I did as she said.
"With each breath, breath deeper and stronger, taking in more and more. Now imagine this cycle once more. This time, extend your hand out, and imagine them flowing through your hands through your palm and through the ring."
I imagined exactly as she said.
"Imagine them changing color as they pass through the ring."
As I did that, I felt my hand grow warm, almost hot.
"Now gathering those specks together in the palm of your hand."
