I tried my best not to look at her in the eye. I sat there tense, waiting for her next words, hoping for something.

Maybe I was waiting for mercy.
But I was expecting the whip.

"I can see it you know," she said calmly.

I looked up at her confusion and fear written on my face.

"You're scared, you're wondering, is she lying to me, trying to break me. You need not worry, I have pushed you too far; rest for now, we will discuss later what is too be expected from here on out. By the way this will be your new room, I hope you enjoy it. Take care of it. I will fetch for you later," she said as he her slide turned the door handle.

With that she walked out of the room, leaving me with a multitude of questions all beginning with.

"What?" I stood there with an empty expression.
