From the darkness of your mind I retreated, I moved outward from the depths of your mind.

Suddenly my eyes flashed open, and I fell backward.

I was exhausted and drained of mana. My breath was labored, my vision was spinning, and my head felt light.

"Dwyera!" Glynda said rushing toward me. From the other side, Batari rushed to my side.

I waved them down.

"I'm fine," I said as I stood up.

"So how did it go?" Glynda asked.

"As well as you could expect. We won't know until he wakes," I said looking over at Cemilian.

He was breathing heavily, but slowly his breaths slowed and steadied.

"Anything you need?" Batari asked.

"No, nothing for now," I said while gazing at Cemilian.

"Let us know if you do," Glynda added.

I nodded without turning toward them.

I then heard a distinct noise, one made by using teleportation magic. I felt and heard a stillness in the air. It was just Cemilian and me.

"Cemilian I do hope you wake, and that you'll forget all the pain I caused you. And I'm sorry" I said in a whisper.
