As you became more aware of your surroundings the doors to the carriage slowly opened.
Light flooded into the cabin. Your mind cleared and your thoughts came into focus as you became more alert.
"We've arrived, kaw. The mistress is waiting for you," your heard a voice call out to you.
It was that unsightly creature from earlier. It flew into the cabin ushering you forth from the carriage.
You stepped outside into the bright light beaming down from above. You shielded your eyes from the intensity. Suddenly a sharp wind came from the right, it sent a chill down your side.
The wind seemed to swirl around you.
You took several steps back trying to push against the strong breeze.
"Watch where you step, kaw," the creature said.
You looked backwards, only to become dizzy and panicked. You immediately moved back the other way, falling down.
You were breathing heavy and fast.
You approached a steep cliff, and looked over, You heard the wind howl from below.
You saw the clouds below and realized you were far above the ground on a floating island.
You slowly moved back fearing the worst.
