I stood there for a moment. I was transfixed on the full moon in the sky. With the wave of my hand I set the broken pieces of the ceiling back into place, restoring the hole as if it had never happened.
Suddenly, my use of magic caught up to me. I collapsed to the ground in fatigue. I looked up to the chained sphere, which was rattling nonchalantly.
I turned my sights over to a section of the chains. In one spot it had rusted over as if something was eating away at it. This is horrible, that witch has no idea what she had done, what she has set back into motion.
I hadn't the energy to address it now or if ever. With the last bit of strength I flicked my wrist teleporting myself back to my quarters.
