I reappeared in the southern wing of the castle. I walked over to the balcony that faced the southern seas. I Threw open the windows to see them there. The witches.
On the beach were many of Elyze's witches. They pelted my barrier with powerful spells. As I watched I saw deep cracks in my barrier. Before I could raise a finger to stop them they gathered their power for a final spell that shattered my barrier collapsing it.
In a cloud of smoke several appeared in the room I stood in. Each prepared to strike. One threw an orb of magic at me, taking off for the door the instant it left her hand.
I shattered the spell with a wave of magical energy, "Oust."
Touching my shoulder, a magic mark appeared, the character copy. I drew from the mark a straight sword made of pure magical energy. Throwing the sword it impaled the witch through the back of her neck pinning her to the wall nearby.
"One more to see the Goddess."
