The tea that Batari had handed me smelt of roses. It was a pleasant scent. One that seemed to relax my body.
I brought the teacup up to my lips to drink it.
It was then I noticed something unexpectedly weird.
All of my mana and magic had already been restored.
". . . What is this!?"
"Go on take a sip," Batari said with a smile take a sip from her own cup, "every reaction deserves an action don't you think so."
"When?"
"Does it matter. All things are as they should be."
"I suppose you're right."
Undoubtedly chaos magic is both bizarre and powerful.
I calmly drank the tea. It had a soothing and bitter taste, but strangely appealing.
We sat there in silence drinking our tea. I felt immensely better. My magic, my body was restored, and my mind felt clear.
While sitting there the candles in the room turned pale blue.
"Batari come on," I said standing up.
"Alright," she replied making the cups vanish.
I teleported us to the front door and threw them open; standing there was Glynda carrying an unconscious Cemilian.
"Glynda, I'm teleporting us."
"Please do."
