I cant let that creature have it way, not after everything, not after all I have lost, all that I've given up in the name of this power.

Though I wonder.

Every previous Dark One had eventually sought out a heir, a pawn, a victim someone to inherit this curse, as I was before.

Glynda had told me I would need Cemilian was this what she meant, did she see my end coming soon. Did you have me acquire him as a way to pass on the curse . . .

Regardless, its Irrelevant.

Even if it is, even if she is preparing for the worst to come to pass I will keep living, I wont surrender this body and this power; I own him that much.

I need a plan.

Glynda will be here afters the Hunter's Moon, and after the thing gains more power.

I teleported  back to my study and wrote a letter to Glynda. I summoned a spirit, a golden crow with three eyes and one leg. I tied the message around its leg.

"Fly fast to Glynda, deliver this message and return to me, now go."

It made a bow and flew off.
