"Yes," Okafor replied the light and humming of the blade grew brighter and louder.

I looked him square in the eyes, "a demon."

"What!" He took a step back his eyes opened wide. "Why is it here, did you summon it!"

"Dwyera!" Glynda shouted.

"Its fine Glynda."

"So you knew about this," he looked over at Glynda who was scowling at him.

"Yes she knew about it, and no, I did not summon it nor do I know who did. It has been part of the cursed lineage of the Dark One. A demon that plagues body, soul, and spirit threatening to steal away everything away. Every Dark One before me has fallen victim to this curse."

"I see, so the original summoner is dead."

"Yes, before the cursed fully sets in the previous this curse is passed to another. An unending cycle of death."

"Then I need only kill you its vessel to send it back to the pit."

I smiled.

I quietly extended my index, pink and thumb, placing them on the ground I traced a circle, then placed my hand upon it.
