I had felt that wave of light wash over me as I reflexively attempted to block the light with my hand and shut my eyes closed. It felt like standing in the middle of a storm though the sensation was like I was been scorched by an raging fire. It left my skin feeling singed.
I had heard of her epithet before, Glynda 'The Radiant Storm,' and the 'Tempest of Light.' Both used to describe her particular flavor of order magic.
She was said to dance with a fury that made light into a typhoon of death and beauty drawing in foes before ripping them to shreds.
All order witches and warlocks brandish the same type of magic, namely the ability to manipulate and control light, strengthen the body, and dispel other magic; especially that of chaotic magic.
I had never seen Glynda fight before as long I had known her but I heard the rumors, and this was a glimpse of her magic.
"Okafor, go! I won't repeat myself again."
"Understood, priestess . . ." Okafor glared at me for a moment before vanishing in an instant.
Immediately after the other warlocks vanished with him.
"That idiot!" Glynda screamed.
