"A catch?" The girl replied.

"Yes, this is a transaction. My services for a trade." The Dark One replied.

"I don't have much money."

"Oh, I don't want money dear. I have no need of that, I require something else."

"What then?"

"Nothing much, just the thing you treasure the most."

"The thing I treasure the most?"

"Yes; is there an echo in here?"

I watched as the two talked. The Dark One was offering to trade the potion that could make her wish come true for her most valued possession.

"I have this my mother's ring, she died when I was little."

The girl removed a small silver ring with a green gem from her finger. She held it out in front of her offering it in exchange.

"Don't lie to me dear, you don't value that ring as much as say, the ribbon in your hair."

"What?"

"Don't be surprised dear, precious items give off a unique aura. The object often takes the color of the emotional energy you feel toward it. Red for anger, blue for sadness etc., etc. That ribbon of yours is giving off very happy vibes. So, is it a deal?"
