A sinister shadow pressed against barrier as if trying to look through a window. Its unsettling form sent a shiver down my spine.
"What in the hell that!?" One of the warlocks turned and fell down in fear.
"Maintain your composure and focus on your magic. Should you falter the barrier will fall and we'll all die."
The shadowy figure grew larger surrounding the entirety of the barrier in a black fog. As it grew in size it began to pound and scrape at the barrier, as stones and other things swirled around slamming into the barrier.
"Wha, what is that thing. I never signed up for this!" the warlock on the ground began to cast another spell.
"Stop, don't!"
In an instant he cast his space trying to teleport away that shadow hijacked his spell and slipped in through the portal. Darkness filled the barrier were he stood
"Ahhh!" I could hear his pained agonized screams before everything became silent. Blood and viscera splattered across the barrier.
I could feel the apprehension and terror in the room, but more so I could feel that oppressive aura lurching over us, as darkness filled the room.
