I unfurled the scroll that Glynda passed to me. Reading the contents of the scroll my eyes open wide.
"Glynda is this-?"
"A way to protect your magic from that beast."
"Its risky, it will take large amount of magic to cast. That and there's a chance it could find a way to burrow past this barrier. Glynda this spell is a modified form of barrier magic normally used for sealing the magic of others. Will I still be able to cast magic? If we cast this and I cant defend myself-"
"No need to worry. The spell will protect you from his influence."
"Hmm? I see, the spell is formulated to entrap anything that attempts to violate the encoded parameters, and it draws upon the victims own magic to maintain it."
"The best part is the once the spell is cast it will only draw upon a small amount of energy to be maintained."
"This seems like plan let's get started."
