The next morning came quickly, and upon the morning light, my eyes sprung open. The first thing on my mind was learning magic. I quickly went through my routine and prepared breakfast for, my, master.
After bringing her meal, I stood back, waiting for her command.
"Very good, Cemilian, your cooking has improved a lot. Now then, meet me out in the garden in fifteen minutes. Make sure to wear something light and easy to move in, and bring the book with the red cover," she said.
"Alright?" I replied.
The Dark One coughed sharply and glanced in my direction.
"Oh, understood master," i quickly corrected myself.
"Very good, you're dismissed," she said.
I returned to my room and prepared and headed out to the garden.
The moment I stepped into the garden, the Dark One appeared before me.
"Alright, Cemilian, we shall begin your tutelage," she said. With a twist of her wrist, the book in my hand left my possession and moved into her hand. "Now, unlike most mages, I have a different approach to learning magic," a smile grew on her face. "I want you to run two kilometers around the garden."
