The darkness that swirled around the room continued to build up suffocating out all light. That creature continued to pound and claw at the barrier. Tremors continued to shake the castle.
Slowly but surely this creature would hammer away the barrier till it cracks and then breaks.
"Keep focusing on your magic the barrier, I only need a few more moments!"
The tension and fear in the air was thick, I could even feel my own heartbeat quicken.
But now I was in the final stages of the spell.
"Agor y drysau. Lacrimae, amgáu y llestr hwn. Mythril, Sêl y llestr hwn."
Around me two portals opened. From one flowed a clear bluish liquid that swirled around and encapsulated the heart. From the other flowed a liquid metal metal that formed three bands around the bluish liquid.
"Tymer a siâp. Oeri a chaledu. Engrafiad a thocio."
The liquid hardened around the heart resembling a cut gem in the shape of a tear drop. then the metal bands hardened around the tear. And finally magic runes began to appear on each of the bands.
Now the last step.
After I had finished it was then that the creature howled louder.
