Ni'enw had addressed my previous question. I had never seen him before on the island and at all times the magic of the castle never failed to alert the Dark One or myself to a guest.

I nodded wanting to know about why he was on the island "yes, are you like me, a servant here?"

Ni'enw laughed "haha, not at all. Well to answer your question I'm a more of a friend who likes to pop in from time to time. I bet you're wondering how come my presence didn't alert you or the master of the castle, right?"

"Yes," I replied.

"You see, it's a spell of mine. I like to play a few jokes on The Dark One. She's not very fond of them of course, but I do quite enjoy a little fun, especially with that sourpuss. So would you please keep my presence here quiet for a few days, wouldn't want to spoil the joke would you?"

"You're not up to anything unsavory right?" I asked.

"Oh goodness no. If that were to be the Dark One would have sensed my presence the moment I manifested here."

"I see. I'll keep quiet."

"Thank you."
