"Glynda, please the orb? top drawer of my vanity."

"Of course, but you realize what's going to happen, right?"

"Yes I just need enough to kick start my magic, that beast can devour the rest."

"We can do this another way you know."

"Don't worry about, I don't wait to wait another twelve hours for 'that' spell to take effect."

"Alright, only if you're okay with this, I guess?" Glynda questioned.

Glynda turned walking walking over to my vanity. She returned moments later with a glowing orb sitting on a cushion

This orb shined with a mysterious light that seemed to draw in all manner of energy; light and dark, heat and cold, even emotions, leaving an emptiness that radiated around it.

"Give it here."

Glynda dropped the orb into my palm without touching it.

"Awaken eye of Di-rym!"

The eye opened as if to see the world around it. It looked like the eye of some strange beast, as the iris was cross-shaped.

The floodgates opened, and a sort of void energy poured into the room, the room became saturated with residual magic energy.

This energy made me feel relaxed.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes!"
