I sat in my room, in a state between dreams and reality. I had weaved magic into the air to restore my strength and rest my body. It was then the flames of my candle burned brighter turning blood red.

They have arrived.

I awoke. I walked to the balcony throwing open the doors. Despite being cloaked in darkness I could easily see them.

"Come out!"

With that very word they seemed to come out from the very darkness itself. The snow appeared last traveling down the pathway to the castle.

"Hello Dark One, how goes it?" a woman with icy blue skin and long snow-white hair, wearing a silverly skintight button-down dress with a black sash and an icy blue scarf.

"Very well I had a good breakfast, read a good book, took a nap for two weeks, and then you showed up."

"Sorry to interrupt your cat nap, but it's been far too long since we had a lovely little talk."

"I would much rather avoid these, 'talks' since every time we talk my property end up, damaged somehow."

"Sorry you feel that way, but I do miss them. What do you say we start this one?"
