No One's POV
"Michiru?" Shiori asks at the intense staring of the blonde playing with her cup.
"I've been curious... What were you doing with Ichie last time?" Michiru averts her gaze to the liquid in her cup.
"That's what you were thinking about? Nothing much happened. It was just Ichie-san being... Ichie-san, you know." Shiori fumbles with her hands about how vague it was to describe what had happened during her older sister's birthday. Birthday? It's Michiru-san's birthday today. "Speaking of, do you want something from me today, Michiru-san?"
"I told you to stop with the formalities already. You're just plating with me aren't you? With that smile on your face, of course you are." Michiru leans on the backrest of her seat and takes a deep breath before looking at her girlfriend.
"You caught me." Shiori giggles. "So?"
"Nothing in particular." Michiru rests her chin on her hands now that she had pit her elbows on the table.
"I knew that would be your answer. All I need is a piece of paper and a pen." Shiori picks a sticky note near the kitchen and a pen not far off from there. She earnestly writes something on the paper before declaring she's done with it. "Done." She sounded a tad bit too satisfied with it and what she wanted for it to mean. "Happy birthday, Michiru?"
Michiru takes a look at what was written on the paper and giggles. She takes the paper and raises it to the side of her face.
'I'll try out an instrument or music... If you want to.'
"This. You're not taking this back? You sure about this?" Shiori shakes her head and that gives Michiru enough of an answer. "Then let's go. There's supposed to be a live viewing by now."
"Right now?!" Shiori asks in shock at the sudden grip in her wrist. Michiru only looks back at her and stares at her, then tilting her head to the side. No matter how many times she sees Michiru act like this, it always catches her off guard. Just a simple tilt of the head. That's enough for her to take a step back in surprise. Plus the way she slowly slid down Michiru's hold to her hand, squeezing it. "...Are we really going out in our pajamas like this?"
"Right..." Michiru looks disappointed after letting go of Shiori's hand. She takes another look at what she and Shiori were wearing. She takes a deep breath and concludes that she can't let other people see Shiori show that much skin. Then she decides to go to their room and takes a coat that should be enough for now. She hands that coat to Shiori who was already wearing a long enough skirt. She also wears one over herself. "Let's go, watch a show, have lunch, and go back home."
Shiori nods and holds tightly to the hand she's holding onto with much pleasure.
When they arrived at a live house venue, Shiori was surprised to see a lot of people. She later understands the crowd when she sees a group of five girls take the stage and the audience with them just with their sound and music. She realizes that maybe this is the reason why Michiru likes music so much. As for martial arts... she still doesn't know yet. Martial arts watching...
Caught up with the rhythm and beat of the song, Shiori wasn't able to get her eyes of the stage and her hands had already moved to cheer for the band. Though one of them was kept in place by Michiru's hold. She looks down to Michiru and blushes in embarrassment, Michiru only giggles at Shiori's embarrassed face as she squeezes on their intertwined hands.
Just as Michiru had said, they went to see a show, had a very delicious lunch at Daiba's diner, and went back home. Before the last one, they had stopped by a store and bought a guitar. Shiori resigns to herself defeated and a little bit scared as to what she had gotten herself to do.
Michiru sets down the guitar to the side before relaxing on the couch. Tapping the space beside her to call Shiori over who followed right away, immediately comfy at the familiar warmth.
"So, you wanted me to learn guitar?" Shiori asks what had been running around her mind since they went into the instrument shop.
"That's slightly wrong." Michiru smiles at the cuteness beaming from the taller girl. "I wanted us to learn together."
"That's nice too."
