No One's POV

Even if she does focus on the book she was holding, the woman staring at her is making that impossible. So she took a deep breath before closing her book, making the other person in the room flinch and continue what she was supposed to be doing.

"Honami-san"

"Yes?"

The called girl tenses when she realized that she was also being stared at, which was embarrassing. But she knew that the young master was just thinking of what to say. She just held strong on the broom she was holding and prepared herself to receive a bit of scolding.

"You're off during Christmas right?"

"Eh?"

It wasn't scolding.

Not believing what her ears had received, she blinks and tilts her head to the side for confirmation.

"I was asking if you've got that day free." The young master slowly placed the book she was holding on the desk and turned the chair she was sitting on to face the maid.

"...Yes, I am, but why Yanagi-sama?" She took a cautionary step forward, her mind still not taking the shock from earlier down. The usual poker face of the young master was somehow bringing her deep into the depths of her mind, but she did notice that her lips slipped into a slight smile.

"I want you to help me pick out a present for my little sister."

The situation finally sinked in and she took a a big sigh of relief. She returned to her usual self and answered to the young master's wishes.

"Of course. I'll gladly help you."

"Then you are dismissed. See you tomorrow, Honami-san." Koharu stood up from her seat and saw the shorter girl out.

"Good night, Yanagi-sama." She bows before she leaves and the young master closes the door.

Koharu lets out a deep breath she knew she was holding. A silly smile settles on her face as she went back to her seat. Her thoughts were filled with the expressions that ran through the maid's face when she started a conversation. She was screaming in her mind, 'She's so cute! Cute!'. And that smile when she agreed to going with Koharu, that was almost priceless. She took a direct hit to her heart.

Realizing what she had just did, she turns into a state of panic.

"It's a date isn't it?" She asks herself. Saying the word, she becomes blank and stares off into space. Her mind is running wild, but the person herself is staying still. She just let her mind run free of all the possibilities that might happen on that certain day.

She checks the date and grumbles. In disappointment she rests her chin on the desk.

"It's still a week away."

"Koharu!" The knocking on her door brought her usual self back as she sat back up properly.

"Sakura? It's late already, why are you in my room?" She stood up from her seat and walks to her little sister who is a ball of energy.

"I was just curious as to what you were up to. I also saw that Hisame just left your room. Figured that you're free, I came here to hang out!" Was it just her imagination or did Sakura just smirked when she said the first name of the maid?

"Hang out? It's late, you should go sleep. I will too when I finish up reading that book." Koharu points to the nearly finished book on the desk she had open.

"I'm still awake so I have to do something!" Sakura insisted, pushing herself to Koharu. Koharu puts her hands on her little sister's shoulders and turns her around.
