Aruru's POV
I've gotten quite used to Wonderland. And it truly lives up to its name. I love Wonderland. I don't there would be any other world out that that would fit such a peculiar being such as myself. Though I've been roped up with the Queen of Hearts and the Hatter's troubles. Well, I think that experience was all part of Wonderland's charm. I am Alice after all! I have to live up to the name that the people living here have lovingly gave it to me.
But there's just one person I don't usually get to meet all the time. She's also the reason that have got me to arrive into this wondrous world. The White Rabbit. She lead me into one of her rabbit holes and into this world. I couldn't thank her more for this adventure.
"What's on your mind, Alice?" The Mad Hatter asked as she served herself another glass of tea.
"Do you have an idea as to where the rabbit could be?" I asked curiously, looking at the poorly poured tea into a teacup missing its mark.
"There's a rabbit over here." The Hatter swiftly moved to her right and presenting another type of rabbit sitting on a number of books to reach the table top.
"No not that rabbit. The White Rabbit." My eyes followed to where the little Hatter had made her move.
"I'm not a rabbit! I'm a hare!" The supposed rabbit reprimanded the presenting hands of the hatter.
"Oh. I'm sorry Alice, but I have no idea where she could be." A frown had formed on the usual happy Hatter as he took away his hands from the angry hare.
"It's fine, Hatter. I'll find her on the way, maybe." I stood up from my seat and started setting off to another direction.
"Where to?"
"Queen of Hearts." A smile on both our faces before departing from the tea party. The conflict against the queen had long been put behind them and now have a trusting relationship with the queen.
"What do I owe this visit, Alice?" The Queen have stood up from her seat and slowly walked down the stairs to face me.
"There's none. But I was wondering if you knew where the White Rabbit is?" I looked up to meet the Queen's eyes.
"It's a maze in the rabbit holes, Alice. There's no way I would know." The Queen made some big gestures as glide through the space to emphasize her statements.
"Roger! Then I'll be going! Thanks for the time Queen." I jumped to turn around and exit the palace. I turned around to see the queen waving a hand and a smile on her face.
"Why are you in the forest, Alice?" Now the Cheshire Cat had even made her appearance. As usual, she appeared out of nowhere and on top of a tree branch.
"Looking for White Rabbit. I've been looking everywhere for her. I just can't find her." I was at my wits end and that made me even look through unnecessary groups of grass.
"She's right there Alice." That made me look up to see which direction the Cat was pointing to. Looking straight ahead to the direction the Cat was pointing to, she really was there. The supposed White Rabbit having red hair.
"White Rabbit!" I ran towards the rabbit. She also turned around, her face in surprise to see me in a rush to get into her arms.
"Alice!" She stretched out her arms, welcoming me into a hug. "What is it this time, Alice?"
"I've been looking for you!" I exclaimed as I buried my face into her neck.
"You should've known I would be here, Alice. The place where we first met." I looked up to see the fond smile she was making. I purred into the hand that was stroking my hair.
"It somehow slipped my mind." A giggle left my mouth as I brought the redhead closer in the hug.
"But it's time for you to wake up, Alice." A sad tone in her voice, making me abruptly break the hug. She covered my eyes and said, "Good night, Alice."
-
"Misora-chan!" I jolted awake, my hand raised forward.
"...Aruru?" The door to my room opened to present the redhead she called for. "What's the matter?"
"Misora-chan..." I got teary-eyed seeing the redhead I've been so used to.
"Did you have a nightmare or something?" Misora ran towards my side and put a hand on my back. I hugged her and shook my head.
"No, it was nothing like that. I was in wonderland once more, Misora-chan. I don't know why but I kept on looking for the White Rabbit." I faced her and showed her a reassuring smile.
"Maybe that's because my role White Rabbit in the Alice in Wonderland play. So you were looking for me." She put a hand over my head and patted it. It's moments like these with her that makes me calm down in an instant. "You don't need to look for my anymore, Aruru. 'Cuz I'll always be by your side."
"As I will be by yours, Misora-chan!" I put on my usual smile and that made her smile in turn.
"Misora-chan! Aruru-chan!" A call from one of our senpai's. Then I remembered we had a surprise to put in action to. Today was October 10, Misora-chan's birthday.
"Yes!" Misora replied to the call.
"Happy birthday Misora." I kissed her cheek after whispering the words into her ears.
"Wha-"
"Come on! You're gonna miss the party!"
"You're terrible at keeping secrets." A chuckle left her mouth, but she was smiling nonetheless after recovering from the initial surprise I did.
"I know."
-----------------------------------------------------------
Heya, it's Shun-chan!
I'm sorry if it's so short... I don't have much material on these two, but they're both so cute...
So it's Misora's birthday. Just so you know, she's my fave in Frontier.
Happy birthday Aruru's navigator, Kano Misora!
As always,
Thanks for dropping by!
