No One's POV
"Wait, Aijou-san. Where are you going?"
"To look for clues. What else would I be doing?"
"It's just unusual for you to leave during a discussion with me."
"Sorry... Then, I'm off to finding more clues, Clau-chan. In the meantime, you can do what you want as I'll do mine."
"You were never looking for clues in the first place..." The called person mumbled to herself, which was heard loud and clear.
"I heard that! I just thought of someplace that might have been left a clue for the current case were taking."
"Yes. Yes." The platinum blonde quickly nodded, waved a hand goodbye, and relaxed herself onto the soft, soft couch. "I could really get used to this."
"Oi, don't slack off too much. I'll be back later in the afternoon."
"Sure." The platinum blonde just waved a hand and the brown haired Sherlock went out in a flash. "She sure had energy... Of course, it's Karen. I shouldn't be surprised at that anymore. Anyways... this couch is getting me sleepy~"
A few minutes later, she really fell asleep with the silence in the room making her dive deeper into the world of dreams. While she was busy playing in the world of dreams, a different person came by and found the blonde sleeping on the couch by coincidence. That person had dark brown hair and was cleaning the room as she thought nobody was in the room. Then, she stumbled upon the sleeping blonde. She found her... beautiful.
"...It's Saijou-san." She mumbled to herself, softly caressing the cheek of the platinum blonde. "Wonder where's the other one? A-Aijou-san was it?"
A person passed by the doorway, that person noticed the maid and what she was doing.
"psssst! Tendou-san! Continue cleaning!" The purple haired whispered her loudest, trying not to wake the blonde.
This startled the brown haired and quickly stood up on impulse.
"By the way, have you seen Karen?"
"You mean Aijou-san?"
"Yes. Where is she?"
"Seems she's out of the moment. Is Daiba-san home?"
"Yep, she's out in the kitchen making something." The purpled haired looked to her back and took a step back. "If you need me, I'll be in the kitchen. Enjoy cleaning~"
"Of course, madam." The brown haired bowed at the purple haired and switched his focus to really cleaning the room.
~minutes later~
"That was a good nap~ Now, where was I?" The platinum blonde stretched out both of her hands and let out a yawn. Then she noticed all the paper works she needed to work on on the table. "Right, work."
"If you need something, I'll get it." The quiet maid appeared suddenly to her line of sight which almost made her scream, good thing she somehow managed to not shout.
"uh, ah, yeah, sure. I'll see to it and call you, maybe later." She switched her attention to the papers in front of her. "On second thought, I'd gladly like some coffee."
"Understood. I'll take my leave, Saijou-san." The maid made a small bow and left for the kitchen, leaving the platinum blonde on her own, scratching her head.
"Let's see... Where is the case we're working on right now..." She kept on shuffling the papers on the table and found it. "Aha! Here it is! The case on the murder of a Hanayagi Shin, suspects are the members of the family, Hanayagi Kaoruko and Isurugi Futaba and their housemaids, Tsuyuzaki Mahiru and Kagura Hikari."
"Come to think of it, isn't it weird for that guy to be murdered. I mean all of the testimonies of the people mentioned were all basically just positive stuff. Maybe we still haven't some new possible suspects or just didn't notice the bloodlust in the tone of their voice and their facial expressions. What to do?"
"Saijou-san, your coffee has arrived." The brown haired maid calmly put down the cup of coffee, careful not to stain anything else on the table.
"Ah! You really have to stop that. That suddenly appearing out of nowhere thing. You nearly gave me a heart attack just now." Saijou put a hand over her chest while the maid put on an apologetic look.
"I had a hard time letting you know I was there as you were so focused on your case. I'll never do it again."
"Please ease yourself. This is so suffocating, call me Claudine or Claud. What's yours? It's not easy to interact not knowing each others' name."
"Maya. Call me Maya if you please."
"Maya, I told you not to be so formal. Ugh, whatever, suit yourself. Thanks for the coffee." Claudine took the cup of coffee and drank it in one gulp. "That was refreshing, thank you."
"You're welcome."
"Clau-chan! I'm back! And I really found something. Ah- am I interrupting something?" Aijou walked in with a bang, raising in her hand some kind of paper as she opened the door, seeing the two smiling to themselves.
"No!" The other two said in unison.
"Ahem! You may take you leave, Maya." Claudine quickly took hold of the paper of the case they were working on and gestured the maid to leave. "Aijou-san, what is that in your hand?"
After two months, the day after they solved the case of Shin's murder...
"Good work, Claudine."
"Thank you, Maya."
"So, who was it?"
"The culprit, you mean? As I thought, it was not one of our immediate suspects. It was one of the new suspects we had. Glad we searched more and that memo Aijou-san found, was a really big help."
"Who was the culprit?"
"You'll see that in the newspapers later. Let's put that aside as I have another case to solve. This time, I won't be needing a Sherlock's help. My case is you." Claudine declared, poking Maya's chest.
"Why'd you need to investigate me?"
"You see, you've been kind of distracting me lately on that last work. I figured there's something about you that just excites my curiousity."
"I'm pretty sure I kept myself prim and proper while serving you, Saijou-san." Maya took Claudine's hand on her chest away.
"I told you it's Claudine. How many times does that make today?" She retorted, all the while trying to break free of the maid's hold.
"Once and I'm just teasing you, fufu." Maya giggled to herself, bringing a fist over to her smiling lips.
"You're really not going to let me go, are you?" The platinum blonde smiled and brought their faces closer. "I'll just have to pull you down to my side."
*chu*
"That's unfair." Maya mumbled, looking away, face all flushed.
"You're unfair. You're the first ever to have made me feel this way, so take responsibility..." Maya looked straight back into the eyes of the platinum blonde.
"Of course! The pleasure's mine, Claudine."
-----------------------------------------------------------
That was Shun-chan!
Yes, It's a KuroMaya.
The Shin guy here is just an additional character. But, I'm pretty sure that Kaoruko is an only child. Or maybe that their family adopted a child or something. Anyways, it's just made up.
I'll be continuing to publish stories but whenever I can.
As always,
Thanks for dropping by!
(p.s. I should be doing that research thing but eh, I need to finish these.)
