No One's POV

Michiru eyes the tall fox who is rarely even distracted. Akira seems to be spacing out on her desk and lets out a breath, her fluffy tail lays down on the floor.

The mouse slides the door slightly open and enters only her head, calling the fox's name. Hearing a voice that she is fond of, the fox looks to her direction and puts on her usual expression.

"Akira~" Ears standing up in full attention, the called girl walks fast toward her. Still surprised at the sudden visit, Akira doesn't say any words and just looks at the mouse girl.

A short silence takes over the distance between them. Michiru smiles and takes the hand of the fox, enters the vacant room and raises their entwined hands. She closes the door in the process and resting her back on it, looking up into the lackluster shine of her amethyst eyes.

"Michiru?" Akira holds off on reacting to anything and just looks at the small grin that is slowly showing itself on Michiru's lips.

"I take it that your heart skipped beat." Michiru lets out soft giggles. The statement only widens the eyes of the fox, though it has to be mentioned that her tail stiffened at the accusation. "Sometimes, you are just so easy to read Akira."

Bringing the hand to her lips for a moment and letting it go the next moment. Michiru sure is hard to read and understand at the same time for Akira. That's why she isn't not so sure what to feel about all this, despite her being absolute on her decisions. Michiru is just so much as a mystery for this fox as much as she is to the others.

"See you later, Akira. I'll come back again later." Michiru waves out a hand and leaves the fox speechless.

Really.

Like a passing storm.

She's gone and away.

Akira takes a moment to collect her thoughts. She unconsciously puts her kissed hand over her mouth. Blinking her eyes a couple times, trying to comprehend how fast things go when Michiru does spontaneous things like what happened earlier.

"I would have known how to handle her by now. So why?" She asks herself, but doesn't exactly know what she is asking and what she should answer. She could only sit back onto her seat and wonder. Her tail anxiously waving from side to side and her ears laying low in her hair.

"Did she just say 'again' and 'later' earlier?" Akira just got those last words Michiru had left her by and understood. A flicker of hope appears in her mind and she resolves to believe that.

'Michiru was just giving me a taste of what she has prepared for me later today.'

Akira's spirits are lifted that easily and she struggles to keep her lips from making a silly smile. Her fellow foxes in the room who arrived earlier couldn't help but notice. Though they all just shrugged it away and let the girl be because of the date of the month. It is her day.

The grey fox couldn't wait for the classes to end that day, she kept on sparing a glance to the clock to look at the time and the door. As soon as it ended, she doesn't move from her seat since Michiru did say that she'll come take her.

"Akira~!" There it is. Michiru opens the door with an excited expression on her face, immediately sees Akira with her ears standing up.

The called girl takes the initiative to take Michiru's hand and leaves the room. After coming to a stop, Akira stands in front of the mouse with expecting eyes. They exchange gazes and the mouse laughs with her hands over her mouth.

"You are too excited about this. You should have just worn that smirk you always make when you are confident instead. But this one is not too bad." Michiru ceases her laughing and let out a breath. She looks up to see that Akira had only just looked away to the side.

"...It's not my fault that I'm like this today."

"I know. Just hold my hand and follow me." Michiru reaches for Akira's cheeks to make her face her way and smile into her eyes. Akira takes one hand from her face and grips on it softly.

"No matter what you have planned for me, I'm sure it'll be fun."

"Glad to know that."
