A Pain (FutaKao)

Futaba's POV

"Kaoruko, wake up!" I said as I tried to get her out of bed.

"...nnn...let...me...sleep..."She grumbled those words as she fell asleep again.

"Oh, come on. We have to get home." I complained as I looked over the window and saw the sun rising.

"......" She stayed asleep, not minding my complaints.

"It's fine I guess, for now." I mumbled to myself as I smiled and went to the kitchen to cook up something.

I was now eating breakfast after taking a bath, distracting myself with my phone. Then, Kaoruko showed herself up the door frame, rubbing her eyes and her shoulder showing.

"Futaba-han..." She murmured as she dropped the pillow she was holding and headed to hug me on my seat.

"Yeah, I'm here." I replied as I brushed her hair with my hands, leaving my phone on the table.

"Are you really awake now?" I asked as I continued to brush her hair down.

"..." She was silent but she nodded as I felt it on my stomach.

"Are you not hungry?" I asked again.

"I'm hungry." She replied as she separated from me and looked at the table.

"You can eat now, I just finished." I said as I stood up from the chair and let her sit down.

"No, you stay. Don't leave." She said as she tugged on my shirt.

"Uhh, yeah, sure, okay." I answered multiple times as I didn't expect this side of her to come out again and I sat down next to her, picked up my phone.

If I remember correctly, the last time she was like this was when we were kids. But seeing this Kaoruko now is really heartwarming. I thought as I let my head on the table, looking at my phone, facing away from Kaoruko and smiled at the thought.

As I continued to scroll down to my post in the social media, I felt a tug on my shirt. In response, I faced to the other side, seeing a pouting Kaoruko with the spoon still in her mouth.

"What's wrong Kaoruko?" I asked as I tried to stifle a laugh. Is she still half asleep? She doesn't act like this. This cute.

She shook her head. One hand still gripping on my shirt and continued eating her food.

As for me, it was entertaining to watch this maybe half asleep Kaoruko.

After a few hours of silence from Kaoruko, she went in the bathroom and took a towel with her.

"Futaba-han! Where's my clothes?" Shd asked, annoyed as she went out of the bathroom and wearing the towel over her body.

"Ah, wait for awhile. I'll get it." I answered as I was in front of her, pointing up and quickly ran to our room to get her a change of clothes.

As I was still looking for her clothes, she kept on calling my name. Annoyed I just took some of my clothes and threw it over to her.

"There change into that and let's leave for home." I angrily said as I started packing our stuffs.

"These are your clothes, where are mine?" She asked again, still annoyed.

"Just wear that, I can't find your clothes." I answered, not facing her and just continued on what I was doing.

A few minutes later, after I was done packing our stuff, I went downstairs to my motorcycle. Putting our luggage on my motorcycle.

Then, Kaoruko quickly came down as seen as she was gasping for air.

"Why did you leave me up there?" She asked after catching her breath.

"I didn't leave you, I was here waiting for you, aren't I?" I answered, teasingly.

"mmm" She grumbled as she pouted and got on the motorcycle gripping my sides as I put on the helmet on her head then on mine.

"Hang on tight, I'm going to start the engine now." I said as I twisted the handles on my motorcycle, getting ready to ride with the wind.

A few minutes later...

"Kaoruko, we have arrived to your house." I said as I tapped on her back, she fell asleep? Was that a long ride? She even slept a lot.

"H-huh?" She said in surprise as she jumped off the motorcycle.

"I'll leave now, okay?" I asked as I tried to put back my helmet but was stopped.

"Wait, I haven't said goodbye yet." She said as she gripped on my sleeve again. She keeps on gripping on my shirt today, why is that?

I stopped there for a while, then I felt her hand on my cheek, pulling me close to her. She just... kissed my cheek.

"See you later, I love you." She said shyly as she looked away.

"I love you too, Kaoruko." I replied back as I pulled her back to me to kiss her and hug her goodbye.

"See you later." I said as I prepared to ride my motorcycle to get to my home and waving my hand goodbye.

"Bye-bye." I heard a faint reply from Kaoruko as I got farther away from her.

But I left with a big smile on my face.

Even though she's such a huge pain, I still love all these little moments I get to spend with her, not with anybody else but her.
