Shiori's POV
"I'll find my way to you." is what she had last told me before she disappeared from my sight and touch.
That might have been for the best. With so much on my hands now, I finally understood the words, 'personal feelings should never interfere with work.'
There's much more of an opportunity for her to go out there in the world and perform. Such is the fate of Seigfeld's number one, Frau Platin.
She graduated, Michiru-senpai also graduated. I became a first year. Yachiyo-senpai became the next Frau Platin and Mei Fan-senpai her Frau Saphir.
Then their year ended and I took over as the next Frau Platin. I guess I have underestimated the feeling of my bond with those precious senpais of mine. Though I have been getting along well with my new comrades, but that doesn't mean I don't miss my dependable senpais. They helped me cope up and get along again with my older sister after all.
But now, I have outgrown those years and I, myself have ventured into the theater business. All that's left of me is to find her again. Or should I just wait for her to come and take her word for it?
"Shiori? It's really Shiori after all! It's so nice to see you!" A familiar voice, it helped sooth the feeling of nervousness that was starting to take over. Then I was surprised by a pat on the head.
"M-Michiru-san! Please stop that..." I tried my best to let her stop the patting because I can't exactly say that I was enjoying it.
"Sorry, it's just been quite a while since I saw you. So it was on impulse..." She took her hand away and reached to scratch her cheek.
"So why are you here, Michiru-san?" I looked up to meet her eyes as I was on my seat.
"Same reason as you. Here to audition on one of Daiba-san's plays. Isn't that why you're here?" She looked straight back at my eyes as if that was an obvious answer. But she was right. There's no other reason for her to be here.
"Yes, that's exactly why I'm here. And maybe, just maybe, I might be able to see her again." I turned around on my chair and faced myself on the mirror, looking with hope in my eyes.
A loud series of claps was heard from the door frame, making us turn our heads to see the source.
"It's time. Will Otori-san start off the auditions?" Hoshimi-san smiled, leaning her side to the door frame.
"Sure!" Michiru-senpai jumped and pumped herself up before resting her hand on my shoulder and whispered, "I'll contact her for you if you gain a part."
At that comment, my face beamed and smiled with determination.
"I'll get a part Michiru-san!" I balled my fists and put them together around my chest.
"Glad to hear you're both fired up! I'm excited to see how you interpret my characters!" Daiba-san appeared from behind Hoshimi-san, she put her hands together in delight. Hoshimi-san seemed surprised of the blonde behind her and was looking like she was scolding Daiba-san, who was laughing apologetically.
And yes! I did get a part and so did Michiru-san! We'll be in a play together again! And I'll get to see her again... maybe.
Then rehearsals began.
"Shiori! Look who visited!" Michiru-san exclaimed, bursting through the backstage and pulling in with her a familiar tall build and flowing silver hair. It's her!
Without a second thought, I rushed to the person Michiru-san had brought and hugged her for dear life.
"Thanks Michiru-san!"
