Rui's POV
"Rui-chan, you did well today." She said as she flashed me a smile.
"As a stage girl, I should do this much." I replied back to hide my embarrassment.
"Since it's this late already, let's all head home now." She said while clapping her hands and putting down the water she was holding.
"Yes!" Ichie-senpai said full of glee.
"Don't celebrate like that." Fumi-senpai scolded Fumi-senpai as she smacked the pink haired.
"Rui." I heard Yuyuko murmur my name as I also felt her tugging on my leotard. "Aren't you going to ask her? We need her opinion for our project."
I tensed up at the mention of needing to talk with her again. But I definitely wouldn't mind getting another chance to talk with her angelic voice and personality.
"I-I'll ask her in a bit, we need to change out of these first. We're also drenched in sweat." I quickly shifted the topic in haste.
"We'll see you guys tomorrow!" Ichie-senpai waved her hand up in the air as she exited the practice room together with Fumi-senpai who stayed quiet and nodded.
"See you tomorrow, don't forget to look after yourselves." Tamao-senpai replied back as she finished wiping herself from all her sweat.
"Sure, I'll keep this one in check." This time Fumi-senpai replied as she put a hand over Ichie-senpai's head, like she's keeping her in place.
"Hey!" Ichie-senpai retorted, she was sort of playing along with Fumi-senpai. Later, she was dragged out of the exit door by the same blonde.
"I'm done changing. How about you, Rui?" My childhood friend asked as she appeared beside me all of a sudden with that red hood of hers.
"D-don't surprise me like that! I almost screamed out my lungs. Thank goodness, I managed to suppress it." I said while putting a hand over my chest and taking deep breaths as I tried to regain myself.
"And for the question, just one more and I'm all done. Done." I continued talking as I tied my ribbon under the collar of my uniform.
"Great. Are you ready to ask her now?"
"Wait, one more thing. What exactly am I going to ask her?" I voiced out my worries, it was as if I felt my head was going to explode at any moment or at least overheat.
"What am I going to do with you... Our project was about traditional dances in our country. So, it should be about her view on continuing and showing these dances." Yuyuko sighed and put a hand on her forehead as she dropped down her head but brought it back up again after sighing.
"Thanks, I think I have a rough idea on what to ask her." I nodded my head and put my fists near myself as I tried to gather courage to ask her these much needed questions.
"Oh, while you're at it. Why not just ask her out as well?" She said it like it was included in the conversation.
"A-a-a-ask her out!?" I was so shocked, I wanted to hide in the corner, covering my ears. "Oops, I made too loud of a sound."
"Yeah, you like her so why not get that out of yourself first and ask the needed questions later. I feel like you would be relaxed after hearing that answer first than saving that for later." She explained quite convincing which brought me to agree to her suggestion.
"I-if that's the case, I-I shall try..." I shyly diverted my gaze from my friend to my adored senpai.
I've never thought that this kind of day would have come today... Damn you, Yuyuko but, thanks anyway. I'll take this.
"T-Tamao-senpai..." I walked to where she was left alone and uttered her glorious name.
"Yes, Rui-chan?" She faced me while her hair flipped to the direction where she suddenly faced and gave me a big smile which was too much of my heart can take.
*kyun* too much cuteness, can't handle it *kyun*
"If I may, c-can I ask you some question?" This is it. The time of decision. I gulped while taking courage from who knows where.
"Sure." She nonchalantly agreed, oblivious to what I was going to ask her whatsoever.
"I need to get this off myself first so...." I fidgeted with my fingers as I felt sweat drop down from my temple and took deep breaths. I thought I was going to hyperventilate.
"Take those deep breaths if it can help you calm down." She worriedly said and did matching hand motions to help me calm down.
"Ilikeyoucanyougooutwithme?" I said it too fast. I closed my eyes when I said and I happened to say it too fast.
"What? Too fast, I can't understand what you mean. Please say it slowly." She tilted her head to the side in confusion and said these words.
"I l-l-like you, s-senpai... I-I want to go out w-with y-y-you..." I don't exactly know how I managed to say my real feelings, but all that matters is that I finally took it out of myself.
"I had no idea you thought of me that way..." She scratched her cheek in embarrassment and I didn't exactly get the answer I wanted to hear.
"Ummm" I grumbled and took hold of the end of my skirt.
"Right, sure that's fine with me." She thought for a moment and finally answered.
"D-did I hear you right...?" I thought I heard wrong so I asked again, just to make sure. Just to make sure.
"Yes, you definitely did." She gave me an eye closing smile it felt like she was shining.
"Really...." It took long for me to completely process her positive amswer and when it finally clicked, I leapt for joy. "Yes!"
"I'm surprised you didn't know I was feeling the same, Rui-chan, fufu." She put a hand over her mouth and giggled which brought about my flustered side again. But, nevertheless I was happy to become hers, at last.
Let's just say the questions I really had to ask for a project went really well for them.

That was Shun-chan!
So yeah!
Here's the TamaRui.
I didn't exactly know what to write.
So I just went with the flow when I started writing.
I'll write another MayaKuro for the next update.
I'll always appreciate requested ships and happily write a oneshot for them.
As always,
