Mahiru's POV
I had such a night I'd rather not explain. And my head hurts. I can't seem to be thinking straight. I put my hand to my forehead, wincing a bit.
I know I'm a lightweight so how did they manage to let me drink all that stuff last night. I should've really not drank, it should've only been water. I thought it was water. I deadpan myself.
I had arrived to the bathroom feeling all nauseous. I looked to myself in the mirror. I wiped the foggy mirror and put all my senses to seeing myself. I put both my palms on my cheeks to help myself wake up.
Remember.
What exactly happened last night?
I tried to close my eyes to imagine what happened, but nothing came to mind. Giving up, I washed my face and headed back out for the kitchen.
I also looked around my unit if something was amiss. There was nothing of note for me to notice except for how I got to be tucked into my bed.
As I was stirring myself a cup of coffee, a sound from the doorbell was ringing all around my unit.
"I'm sure I didn't order anything nor anyone telling me they'd come over." With this in mind, I walked to the entrance mindlessly. That is until I saw wavy platinum blonde hair from looking down in the peephole.
I opened the door with a gulp.
"Good morning, Mahiru! Sorry for intruding so early in the morning. But I'm here for something." She greeted me with a wave of a hand and I let her get in, as I was occupied with the memories from last night flashing through my mind. Ah, yes! That's right! The girls called me out for my birthday and I went all out and let my stress get over my head. That's why I was drinking nonstop. Ugh, my head hurts...
"I came by to help relieve your hangover. Is that fine?" She asked when she had already went in and took off her shoes. I had a hand on my temple and looked to her direction.
"What? Does that mean you took me here?" I asked, wincing and holding back showing pain on my face.
"Of course, don't you remember?" She asked raising an eyebrow as if it was natural for her to do that. I did at least think about that one of the girls would bring me home but, I didn't think it would be her.
"No and my head hurts. I only had a glass of water and I think that was not enough." I blabbered as I walked pass by her and remembered something. "Oh, right. Make yourself at home and sit down on the couch. I'll get you something."
"Ah, no. I'm here to take care of you so you can take a rest." She held my wrist before I actually went to my kitchen.
"Is that right? I'll gladly take you up on that. I actually thank you for giving me time to rest. And it's a day off too. Thanks, Kuro-chan." I accepted her offer without much thought as the pain in my head was coming through again.
"Here." After hearing her rummaging in the kitchen, she came back with what seemed like a glass of water or rather, something to help with my hangover.
"What's that?" I leaned back, wavering if I should accept it or think about my options first. I decided the latter and showed her a hand, biting my lip to withstand the pain.
"It's hangover medicine. What else could it be?" She had a look of shock, for me doubting about her actions.
"It better be not the same as last night. You made me think it was water and making me drink it in one gulp too." I looked to the side to avoid her questioning gaze.
"I'll just see you drink it and you'll see for yourself what happens if you did drink it." She put down the glass on the low table and made me think about it. She in turn took a step behind, faced to the wall with her arms crossed and eyes closed, and making timely glances over to my side.
Seeing her fidgeting around, unlike her usual prideful atmosphere, I look down to the glass and scanned its contents for a good second. I took the glass and drank it.
It was good, unlike the usual bitter medicine I used to take, and what's more the headache was gone.
But then it all blacked out and I realized I had fainted.
I don't know how long I had passed out but when I came to, I felt the familiar comfiness of my bed and the blank ceiling above it.
"Ah, Mahiru. You're awake." She entered my bedroom door and made my jaw drop.
"W-w-w-what are you w-w-wearing, Kuro-chan?!" I covered my face in embarrassment, taking peeks once in a while.
"I-I thought you would have liked to experience the same thing last night..." She softly mumbled, taking awkward steps towards my bed.
"Does that mean we did something? Do you mean that I haven't remembered everything?" I put down my hands after turning around to avoid seeing her. My mind was already in a state of panic and I didn't know what to do.
She pulled me and put her hands on my cheeks after putting me on my back on the bed.
"Aren't you curious?" She gave me a strong gaze and transferred her other hand on my right wrist. "Let's try that again."
I gulped before I nodded in agreement. That was the only moment she let me breathe then before she feasted on me.
Now I'm seeing her off and something just crossed my mind. Why did I pass out from that medicine earlier?
"Ah right, Kuro-chan."
"Hm?"
"You DID put something in that glass you gave me right?"
"Yep." She properly put on her shoes as she answered me. "One more thing."
She leaned onto my ear.
"We didn't exactly do anything last night. Today was the first time." She giggled, making me blush up to my ears. "Also another kiss for me to set off with."
She pecked my cheek before altogether going to the door and opening it.
"See you later, Mahiru." She said with a cheeky smile before the the door closed in on her.
Really...
That girl will make my heart stop sometime in the future.
I plopped down the floor, taking a large blow to my mind and heart, steam was flowing out of my head.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hey guys!
Shun-chan here!
It was Mahiru's birthday last May 4, so I wrote this up for her.
Though it's late...
Happy Birthday Mahiru!
And it's a rare ship this time. Not many people ship this, I think. And I'm one of those people who don't ship this, but the image was cute and very Mahiru-like.
So yeah.
Thought of a story for the pic.
That will be all.
As always,
Thanks for dropping by!
