Yachiyo's POV
I rest my chin on my balled fingers while I traveled my eyes across the gym.
A kick. A punch.
Simple looking moves, but much effort is put into practice to execute them beautifully. Not to say that I am not familiar with such art as I take the practice in too. For self defence is mostly the reason.
But recently another reason has come to arise itself and that involves my current position as of the moment. Eyeing the people practicing by themselves before the trainer herself has come. Well I have quite the eyesight and my eyes had found itself staring at the purple haired with red ruby eyes. She was certainly a beauty. That toned muscle body of hers is making my hands touch air, like I want to feel them for myself. Before I could embarrass myself even more, I instantly kept my hands together.
She's hot. Period.
Sighing, I stood up from my seat. I need to warm up myself too. The trainer is about to come any minute now.
"Are we all here?" Says the stoic silver haired.
"They are, Akira. Didn't you count them?" The blonde that was following her asks.
"Of course I did. Ahem." Our trainer clears her throat. Erasing the easy going atmosphere along with it. The people around me tensed, including the purple haired from earlier. I just kept myself composed and calm. It was nothing new. "Let's start."
We were all follong the actions Yukishiro-san and Otori-san were doing. That was what their warm up was. Seeing that the students have warmed up, a small smile was seen on her face for just a moment and returned back to the usual frown.
"You. You. Spar." She pointed to me and that purple haired beauty from early.
"Yes, gladly!" The both of us said in unison, taking a step forward from the line of students.
"On your positions... Go!"
I took my stance and so did she. I put my fist just in front of my face, assuming a defensive stance. She was also doing the same, except there was more space in between her forearms. Seeing this as an opportunity to attack, I took it with an impressive step forward to throw her a punch directly to her face.
That attack didn't pass through at all. It was part of her plan. Unknowingly, I smiled.
She trapped my right wrist with her forearms and did a kick with her left leg. As I noticed her grip on my right had loosened, I immediately took a step back.
"Not bad."
"You too." She replied back and smiled.
So that's how you're going to attack. Then I'll do my style next.
This time she was the one who charged forward. She spun and did a jump kick at my left side. I anticipated such an attack from her as it was almost like the kick from earlier.
"You read me. You're good."
"Of course."
The spar went on for a while until the trainer told us to stop. Good thing she stopped us at just the right timing. I was just about to run out of juice. I guess the same goes for her too.
I returned back to the line of students, my eyes not leaving the purple haired alone.
"Tsuruhime-san, Liu-san. Both of you did a great job." The blonde companion of our trainer complimented our actions.
Thanks to her calling out to us, I focused again.
"That's it for today. The others will spar tomorrow."
