No One's POV
The sounds of the birds are resounding through the calm atmosphere of the lazy morning.
It was the current usual for the newly stationed couple at a certain quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Just the way the purple haired likes it.
The blonde blinked awake and turned to her side to face her gorgeous wife. She couldn't help but smile at the peaceful face she's making and the way her chest slowly lifts up and down in time with her breathing.
Thinking that it's time for her to start up her day, she sat up. Initially thinking of going straight to the kitchen, but the thought of what day it was shifted her thinking to the bag she left on the floor last night.
When she saw her bag at where she just left it, she noticed that it was a bit open. Obviously surprised and somehow worried if the girl saw it. But it was completely out of the question as it was already dim by the time she got in the bedroom and the purplette was already waiting for her on the bed, patting the space beside her as she tucked herself in.
She looked at the contents of the bag. She smiled seeing the light blue dress she bought the day before thinking that it would completely suit her purple haired. 'That was enough fantasizing for the day,' she scolded herself. She's going to see her in it sooner or later so she gets up off the bed, taking one last glance at the still sleeping purplette.
"I should start making my breakfast special." The blonde psyched herself to prepare the best dish she can for the purplette. She closes the door behind her, humming to herself as she reached her abode, the kitchen.
Half an hour later...
"Hngh..." The purplette was starting to wake up, she grumbled to herself. She reached for the space where the blonde would usually be at but her hand only met the soft blanket that was covering the bed. She opened one of her eyes and closed them back in disappointment.
She opened her eyes again, meeting the blank white ceiling. She blinked. She sat up in a hurry, looking for her glasses while also looking for her phone to know what day it was, just to confirm it wasn't a work day.
Having to see the date, she released a relieved sigh. She already asked for a leave for her birthday, wanting to spend the whole day with her wife. She was reminded once again that the blonde she was looking to spend the day with wasn't on the bed with her. She wanted to see her blonde first thing in the morning, not the empty space and the wrinkled blankets.
She sighed, fixing the way her glasses sit on the bridge of her nose. Already feeling sad and alone, she walked to the door hoping to find her blonde as soon as possible and give her a big affectionate hug. And maybe a kiss too.
Before she got to the door, she saw two small light blue rectangular boxes on top of a desk along with a small note, saying.
'Happy birthday, Junna-chan. Your present this year is a pair of matching glasses with me. Let's both wear our own when we go out together. 🎶' (this part is really just Nana's greeting for Junna in ReLive)
The purple haired smiled at the note. She just noticed that it never crossed her mind having matching glasses with the blonde. But her glasses cabinet might just overflow with her glasses which had accumulated over the years. Though the main reason of the broken glasses has something to do with hitting herself hard enough because the brunette that frequented their room a long time ago would go above the purple haired's patience, making her snap. Thank the blonde she was there before she could have shoved the brunette from clinging to her. She had taken a mental note that time to never help study the brunette without her blonde in the room.
