Opposites Do Attract (MayaKuro)

No One's POV

I... was the other end of the magnet and she was the other.

"Saijou Claudine." The way that certain brown haired says her name makes her shiver.

"Claudine?" Hearing it again made the platinum blondes vein near the forehead to twitch.

"What is it now, Tendou Maya?!" She furiously turned around and stepped on the ground too hard. "Ouch..."

"Are you okay?" Maya looked at the platinum blonde worriedly.

"I'm fine! You don't need to wordy about me. I can take care of myself. So what do you want?" Claudine put her hands on her hips, bit her lip to help herself forget the pain on her feet.

"It's about the play but, it seems we need to take care of you first. I can't bear seeing you in pain like that." Maya suddenly carried Claudine princess style at the surprise of the other party.

"Wha- Maya! Put me down! I can walk by myself!"

"No, it's your feet that hurt. Of course, you can't walk that well right now. I need to do this."

"You, hateful woman..." She mumbled to herself, putting her arm to hide her face.

"It's good that getting along well, right Junna-chan?" The blonde on the sidelines smiled to herself and tapped the shoulder of the person beside her.

"I'm not sure about that, but if you say so Nana, then yeah sure. They are getting along well." Junna took a moment to look up from her book and returned her serious gaze to her book. The blonde and the purple haired were on standby on the corner of the practice room, Junna brought a book to pass time with and Nana as usual brought with her the usual supply she needs to take care of herself and of course Junna's share too.

After a while of going against the brown haired, the platinum blonde gave up fighting back in the arms of the brown haired. They were already out in the hallway when Claudine lost her energy to fight back.

"Can't really help myself with that cute face of yours, Claudine. Now, let's take you to the infirmary." She mumbled to herself. With a determined look and loving gaze, she hurried her way to the clinic.

"Wha- Flattery won't get you anywhere!" Claudine looked away but it was too obvious that it was getting to her, making Maya laugh.

"The pain will fade after a while if you don't strain it too much. Tendou-san take care of Saijou-san for me. I have to go now the headmistress is calling for me." After a rough check up with the nurse, Claudine was put on the bed and Maya sitting beside her.

"See, just as she said so."

"So, what?"

"Hm?"

"Hurry up and tell me what you wanted to tell me about!"

"Oh right, it's not exactly part of the play but it is connected to it."

"What?"

"Claudine you're Aladdin and I'm the genie. Aladdin makes wishes and gets it granted by the genie. In that case, I wanted to ask if you wanted something to be granted. A wish perhaps?" Maya explained, caressing the hands of the platinum blonde.

"What's with the sudden idea? I don't really need granting wishes." Claudine replied, twitching her eyebrows and taking her hand away from the playful brown haired.

"What is your wish?" Losing the warmth Maya was holding earlier, she went on top of Cludine, their faces moving closer as the clock ticks by.

"Why are you getting so close?" Getting chills from the tingles her skin makes as it made contact with the others' skin, she finally broke the ice.

"S-sorry. Give me at least one of your wishes." Maya quickly got back on her seat and had a moment to get back to her usual self, it seems she lost herself there.

"I want to top you." Claudine calmly said, not knowing it could be taken the wrong way.

"What?" Surprised by the platinum blondes' statement, she slowly moved her head to see the person.

"No! N-not that! That came out wrong. I want to beat you for sure in the next play." Realizing her mistake, her face became beet red. She stood corrected by herself and explained.

"I can't grant that as I am a jealous performer. I can't let anyone take my spot. What I can grant is the other one, if you want. Though I can't guarantee you that you'll be in the same position throughout the activity." Maya answered, moving her hand to find the others' hand again. As she continued to explain, a grin spread across her face.

"H-how can you say something like that with that grin on your face? I don't need anymore spoiling from you." Claudine moved her face the opposite way, crossing her arms.

"I want to spoil you though." Maya  said as if it was obvious from her face.

"No need." Claudine kept herself firm and not looking at the way of the brown haired.

*ding**dong*

"And that's the bell. Time for us to go. Should I carry you to your room?" Maya offered, her arms ready to receive the weight.

"No! I'll walk. I told you I don't need anymore of your spoiling." Claudine stood from the clinic bed, rejecting Maya's offer.

"Sure sure." Maya relaxed and followed after the platinum blonde leaving the room towards their dorms.

'What the heck, Tendou Maya! Why are you trying so hard? You've been drawing my attention too much. All day, all year round. You don't need to rattle me so much. You're supposed to be my rival...' Sure enough, Claudine was gritting her teeth on the inside at the unexpected actions the brown haired brought upon her that day. She was pacing faster as time went on and Maya didn't mind at all that she was being left behind.

'What should I do? She is so cute! I don't think I'm doing a good job holding back. Whatever, I'm doing what I want to do. She is my true north after all. fufu~' Maya was squealing on the inside so much that her heart could burst.

"...Thanks..." Claudine murmured loud enough for the other to hear right before closing the door of her room.

"What was that? I don't think I heard you?" She teasingly asked, stopping the door on going on a full close. "Then can I get at least a kiss on the cheek, Ma Claudine?"

"I'm not your anything! ...(yet)... Fine! Just on the cheek, okay?" She embarrassingly admitted defeat as she realized it would just drain more of her energy if she resisted.

"Okay then." Maya had a wide smile on her face then, she cupped Claudine's cheek and Claudine realized what was going to happen.

Maya went for a quick kiss on the lips.

"Thanks for the meal." Maya backed off, putting a hand over her mouth that was licking it. Now, a smirk was on her face.

"I-I thought you were only going to- ugh, whatever. Good night, Maya." She retorted and then defeated, closed the door on her. After closing her door, she leaned on her door and was slowly going down, exhausted and embarrassed.

"You really are cute, Claudine. Good night to you too. Hope you have sweet dreams." Maya left to her room with a smile in her face. "This is enough for now. I'll make sure you'll succumb to my charms soon enough."

The next one's a SuzuMahiru. I don't know who exactly is Suzu so I can't guarantee that my character for her is accurate from the real one.
