Pure Happiness (MahiKaren)

Mahiru's POV

Yesterday happened and today came. The most amazing moment I've ever came to experience about happened yesterday.

Yesterday, I confessed to Karen about my feelings for her. Then she said she didn't mind and that got me so happy.

Was that even a proper answer?

Let's not make that a problem. I'll just ask her again today.

I was anxious to get out of bed and waited for morning to come. When the sun came up, I quickly got off my bed and put it in proper order. Then, I looked over to Karens' bed and just saw her sleeping peacefully, if we talk about Karen being Karen. But, I still like her that way.

Nonetheless, I didn't want to disturb her sleep but I want to eat breakfast with her. What a tough decision to make?

Ah! I'll just wait for her to wake up. In the meantime, I'll just watch her sleeping.

A few minutes later, I, myself also fell asleep on her bead, head above arms on the side of her bed.

Karen was already awake, when I next came to.

"How did you sleep on the side of my bed like that?" She asked as she leapt out of her bed.

"I was already awake earlier, but I didn't want to wake you up." I replied as I rubbed my eyes and yawned.

"Hmm, okay." Karen said as she swiftly went out of the room.

Why did she go out? I thought as I looked at the door worriedly.

Then I looked over to her bed, seeing it still messed up as always. But I like to take care of her, so no worries. I immediately put her bed into place and folded her blanket, putting it over her pillow.

Then, I followed after Karen and went out of the room, only to see her eating ahead. Which made me a little bit mad... I even waited for her.

"Karen-chan!" I said loudly as I quickly walked over to the seat beside her and Karen turned her head to me.

"W-what is it, Mahiru-chan?" She immediately asked as she saw that I was a bit mad.

"You ate without me..." I answered shyly as I quietly took the seat beside her.

"Eeh, what's wrong with that?" She asked as she took another bite into her mouth which made me tweak my eyebrows.

She then put her spoon into the bowl again and brought it up to eat it. But, she didn't eat it, I took the bite while gripping her wrist.

"M-mahiru-chan!?" She exclaimed as I backed away, relaxed on my seat and saw a blushing Karen. How rare~

"There's no problem with me doing that, right Karen-chan~?" I asked teasingly as I put my chin on top of my hands.

"Y-yes." She agreed as she nodded and left her spoon on the bowl. Then, she looked down and held her hands together.

"Mahiru-chan" She said as she continued looking down.

"Mhm?" I hummed as I faced her, trying to look at her face.

"Can I be a bit more selfish right now?" She asked as she rubbed her hands together, as if anxious. That's unusual...

"You've always been a bit selfish, Karen-chan." I retorted back.

"Actually, you can. Just for you." I continued as I put my hand on top of her hands, it was a bit cold. Are you nervous, Karen-chan?

"C-can I really!?" She said as she quickly perked up, almost hitting my chin as she faced up to look at me. Good thing I backed away for a bit.

"S-sure you can, if it's for you, then that's am absolute yes!" I answered again as I didn't expect her to want to confirm it and as I continued to hold her hands.

Just what do you want right now, Karen-chan?

"Then, can I do this?" She asked as she kissed me on my lips for such a short moment as I felt my blood start to rush to my face. I want more, that was so soft Karen-chan...

"You sure can, anytime." I said as I also returned the gesture a few more seconds than hers lasted.

"You're my girlfriend now, aren't you?" She asked as she brought me up and pushed me to a wall all the while kissing and had short breaks for air.

"I've been yours, ever since I laid my eyes on you, Karen-chan." I answered, in between catching breaths as she held her grip on my wrist tighter.

She continued to kiss me more and she eventually started to touch my body.

"Actually, I was unsure of your feelings for me earlier." I confessed.

"Why?" She asked as she kissed my neck.

"You didn't reply clearly and only said you didn't mind it..." I said as I covered my eyes with my arm.

"I love you, Mahiru-chan. I truly mean it." She immediately said as she tried to get my arm off my face and I quickly turned red at the sudden comment. I wanted to squeal so hard.

"Of course, I love you too, Karen-chan." I replied as I tried to keep the blushing to the minimum but, I can't really stop it.

"Are you really fine with me, Mahiru-chan? Will you be truly happy being with me?" She made another question as she stopped kissing me and stepped back.

"Of course. I'm feeling very happy right now. It will be just pure happiness for me from now on, if you continue to love me as you are right now." I answered using my sweet voice to help her calm down a bit as I cupped her cheeks with my hands.

"I will, and continue to love you, Mahiru-chan. That's a promise." She answered with such determination which made me smile.

Then they continued where they left off on bed. You know what happens, I won't elaborate much more.
