No One's POV
It's been a few weeks since the last sit in with two different classes. The fox class and the mice class. As different as the both of those classes were, they were all pretty behaved, saved for some of the mischief caused by some of the students under the fox class and some of the mice class as well. Though the representative of the mice class stayed firm and kept her classmates calm and composed. So thankfully, nothing too troublesome happened during the event but it did give the teacher in charge a mild headache.
Although not the same can be said to the newest addition to both of the classes.
The quiet and straight-faced fox stayed in the back, seemingly uninterested in the trouble that was brewing during the class. The fox beside her, who has some kind of connection to the new fox, was assigned to look out for her.
"Koharu-san?" The fox checked up on the new girl beside her who is being quieter than usual. She offers up a word every now and then usually, so this brought some concerns to the one who was assigned to look after her.
"Ah, Maya-san. I'm fine. Completely fine." Koharu was brought out of her daze from blankly staring at the lone mice at the other side of the room. Maya doesn't seem to have noticed the blank stare from Koharu moments ago.
"If you say so." Maya, having been cleared of her concerns, faced to the front at the scene of which their teacher is breaking up the blue-haired fox, who is often nicknamed 'gremlin' by the cats class, and the pink-haired mouse, who is clearly still triggered by said fox.
One of the three taller mice sat beside the seemingly frightened new mouse, startling the little mouse at the sudden attention.
"Sorry for startling you, Hisame-chan." The gentle mouse ran a hand on the called girl's hair, visibly making her take calming breaths.
"It's fine, Mahiru-san. I'm just not used to this rowdy atmosphere, I guess. Still, thank you." Hisame smiled at Mahiru, her ears flickering in time with her smile, that made Mahiru to smile back at the smaller mouse.
"Thank Banana-chan later. She's the one that told me to look after you in her stead after all. And also, Junna-chan may not say it, she most probably means the same thing despite her scrunched up face and her hissing." Mahiru laughs as she remembers the break she just joined with the blonde dog and the purplette cat before this class.
"I will take note of those, Mahiru-san." Hisame finally laughed, the first time that day. Mahiru now relaxed at her side, giggling at the worried and nervous other mice behind the fighting two.
Koharu seemed to have caught the sound of Hisame's laughter as her eyes has brought her to stare at the small mouse once again. Immediately realizing she was staring, a light blush colors her cheeks as she looks to the other side. This made Maya look at her questioningly.
Hisame felt the stare at her this time, looking to that direction cautiously. A small curve of her lips is made when she made the deduction of who was staring at her. She guesses it was the fox on the far side rather than the one beside her.
Now, she got her eyes on someone.
All she has to do is to make the opportunity for them to directly talk to the other.
That opportunity came sooner than expected, it caught the mouse off guard. As well as the fox, her brain appears to have been in a celebration as soon as she heard what the teacher said, though it doesn't show on her expression. It's always the same stoic expression.
In the present, another joined class with the foxes according to the schedule is happening. This time to help mend the relationship of both classes with each other, they were paired with each other. That worked incredibly well for the new additions of the class, the teacher seemed to have just paired them up so that they won't feel that burdened if they were paired up with the older students.
