Keep Your Eyes on Me (MahiKaren)

No One's POV

Have you ever wondered were her eyes would stray around when she's spacing out? Or what she is thinking about in that moment?

"No, not really."

"What are you saying? I thought you would gladly join me on a shopping trip."

"I definitely would, but this time I have my own work to do today. I'm sorry Karen-chan. I'll treat you next time. I'll make it up to you next time, really."

"*pout**pout*"

"Come on, can I at least have a hug? Come here." The leaving blue haired opened her arms wide in front of the door. The brown haired only shrugged, but the moment she heard a click sound she ran towards the blue haired and hugged her with all her might.

"You won't be long right?" Looking up towards the blue haired like an abandoned puppy.

"Of course, I'll be home before you know it." The blue haired responded with a reassuring smile while patting the head of the brown haired.

"Take care, Mahiru-chan!" Karen energetically waved by the door.

"See you later!" Mahiru waved back, leaving for her business in a hurry.

"While she is on her business, what should I do?" Karen put both of her hands on her hips, facing back inside their home.

Meanwhile...

"She's really taking long..."

"Suzu-chan! Sorry for being late." The blue haired stopped right in front of the black haired while catching for her breath. "Karen-chan was not letting me go."

"It's fine. It's not like we really have much to do. All we have to do is gather up materials for our next event at the company." Suzu gave the other a reassuring smile.

"Right. We should finish this up quickly so I won't worry her." Mahiru psyched herself up.

"Now, let's go over that confectionery shop over there."

"Yes!"

They went inside the shop and bought the things they might need. They went around for more shops to get the things they needed for the event. The event was a surprise for the boss, the platinum blonde one, for her engagement with the long brown haired. All of the employees were happy to see that their boss was going to finally have a partner in life.

On the other hand...

"It seems like were out of ingredients for when Mahiru-chan cooks for me. I should go to the supermarket and buy some." She spoke to herself as she closed the door of the refrigerator. "Problem would be, if I'd be able to get the ingredients wisely. It better be not the ones that'd go rotten after a day."

After worrying over it in an hour, she decided she had to go and but some nourishments as she became hungry herself. She looked at the clock before leaving the house. "I wonder when she'd come back home. All that matters is she would get home safe and sound."

"The supermarkets' this way right?" As she was looking around, she found a familiar blue haired and was ready to call out to her until she saw the black haired. When shr saw that, she withdraw her hand into a fist and had a bitter look on her face. "I should get the shopping for food over with."

While shopping, Karen was on her mind a lot and didn't mind what she was putting on her cart anymore.

This is Mahiru-chan we're talking about. The one who was always head over heels for me, there's no way it's like that right? She said she was going out for work. Would that explain all the things they were carrying together? Probably...
