(Saber's pov)
today's been pretty uneventful so far, don't get me wrong that's a good thing but when you're setting around in the HQ with nothing to do a kitten can get pretty bored, so here I am in the games pod bouncing a volleyball on my head occasionally doing backflips and frontflips in between bounces, handstands to balance the spherical object on my back paws "impressive little buddy" fin smiled, circling the pod "thanks" I replied returning the smile, dad's favorite game is ping pong but my favorite has to be volleyball. There's just something about heading the ball over the net and watching my opponent scramble to hit it back that makes this pirate feel alive
I was in front of the octoshoot when some of the Vegimals came flying out of it "are you alright me hreatys?" I questioned removing myself from the floor, "zupa zupa" Barrot chirped, "good" I chuckled, that meant super in Vegimal. Barrot laughed as I rubbed the top of his head, Tominnow and Grouber started jumping up and down and chanting "zupa zupa" Barrot hesitated for a moment before joining in. He's the quietest and most reserved of the Vegimals, I smirked as the Vegimals continued dancing around me
Soon radio static caught my attention, "saber are you there?" A mildly deep voice asked, "aye captain, what's up?" I replied, "we've lost contact with Dashi and peso in the gup-E" CB explained, "Shiver me whiskers, they could be in trouble" I exclaimed, "saber, sound the Octoalert" Barnacles ordered, "yeow" I mewed, hitting the circular button displaying our octopus logo with my paw "octonauts to the HQ" the captain ordered, I pulled the picture of midnight moon from my belt, narrowing my eyes "a pirate never leaves her crew behind or her family" I whispered to myself, let the adventure begin
