(Barnacles's pov)
We drove until we found the gup-D, as I thought it was crashed but Saber was no where to be found "I wonder what happened? Saber's never crashed a gup before" I pondered outloud putting my paw to my chin trying to think, "something else must've happened after the crash, saber doesn't leave her equipment laying around like this" kwazii added, he's right, this isn't like saber, I hope she's okay
"Captain look" ocean said getting my attention, "a sea cave, that looks like a place saber would want to explore, peace ocean Kateleen peso, you check the cave, kwazii and I well check the kelp forest" I ordered, everyone nodded and went they're respective ways, we need to find saber and fast
(Kwazii's pov)
I followed the captain into the kelp, as we were swimming some needlefish sawm around us narrowly avoiding swimming into us, I noticed the captain looked unnerved and was breathing harder than normal, I grabbed his shoulders "captain there's something wrong and I'm not letting go until you tell me what it is" I demanded, the captain was silent for a moment "fine....your a very determined cat" he told me, "then tell me what's wrong?" I said repeating my question, "you know how some creatures have needle-like parts of their body's they use for finding food and protection" he said, I think I know what he's hinting at
"are you afraid of needles?" I asked, the captain refused to look at me but nodded "is that why you're breathing goes crazy whenever you're around needlefish?" I asked, "yes, whenever I'm afraid I usually start hyperventilating" he explained, "it's alright captain, you don't have to be embarrassed by this, everyone has something they're afraid of" I said trying to comfort me best friend, "then what are you afraid of?" The captain asked, I sighed not liking the thought that came with this question
"Spiders" I said reluctantly, "I never minded any other kind of creepy crawlie but spiders and me just don't get along" I explained, "Kateleen's afraid of beetles, peace's afraid of the dark, ocean is afraid of getting lost at sea and saber is afraid of losing her family again" I explained, "I'm sure the rest of the octonauts are afraid of something as well" I reassured him, "I know, everyone's afraid of something but you know I try to stay professional under stress" the captain responded, "yeah I know you do but if you need to talk to someone I'm all ears" I said, "thanks...kwazii" he said as we hugged, I know the captain would've done the same for me, we always help each other no matter what just like the best friends we are
