(Saber's pov)
I was staring out into the ocean from the window of our headquarters, I'm starting to get concerned, it's been over an hour since dashi spoke with him and captain barnacles still isn't back yet "dashi, can you check the gup finder, the captain should've been back by now" I said worriedly walking over to where the dachshund technician was seated, "sure thing saber, mmm...this is the last known location of the gup-A...but I can't find it now" she explained, "there must be something wrong with the gup-A's gup finder, search the radar for him" I ordered, dashi proceeded to run a crew locator scan over the radar specifically set to show the location of the captain's octo-compass, he always has it attached to his waist belt so it's a good way to track him down if need be "uh oh" dashi exclaimed, "what is it dashi?" I asked, "the radar shows the captain a lot further away from the octopod then the gup-A's last known location" she explained, this isn't good especially not with the storm that's heading this way
"Dashi, sound the octo-alert" I ordered my expression turning serious, she jumped up and ran to the captain's usual post to sound the alarm "octonauts to the launch bay" I mewed, dashi and I took off running to the launch bay to meet the others, once everyone had gathered Kateleen spoke up "what's going on saber?" She asked, "captain barnacles is missing, tweak prepare the gup-C, I'm going after him" I explained, "right away sab" tweak replied with a salute, "but lass you've never piloted a gup though a storm before" kwazii said out of worry, "well there's a first time for everything, besides someone has to go find the captain, a task I don't exactly trust you to do given your track record of crashing the gup-B" I remarked, kwazii sighed apparently not in the mood to argue "fine...just be careful" he finally spoke his fatherly instincts kickin into overdrive, "I well, don't worry" I said giving him a hug of reassurance, I'll try to be as careful as I possibly can but he's right I've never driven in a storm before
"Gup-C's ready to go saber" tweak explained before munching her signature carrot, "thanks tweak" I responded as I walked towards the ship stationed next to the pier, "please find him quickly" Nora pleaded, she's really attracted to barnacles, if you didn't know any better you'd say they were already a couple "I well" I started before front flipping into the gup-C, "tweak keep the octo-hatch open for as long as you can, I'll be back as soon as possible" I finished, tweak walked over to the switch and turned back to face me, I gave her a thumbs up and closed the ship's windscreen, the mint colored bunny pulled the lever and I was off, I hope the captain is alright
