(Saber's pov)
We walked for a long time, cutting through brush with our swords and oasis fantasizing about sword fighting like me and kwazii, I did give Carmen a death glare at one point "I swear that little critter.." he huffed, "I'll have you know oasis is my Captain's daughter and I don't advise crossing a polar bear" I snapped, if looks could kill this irritate island dweller would be dead where he stands. I heard kwazii sigh behind me "treasure, don't you think we should contact the octopod? Let'em know we're safe and all that" he suggested desperately wanting to change the subject, it has been a while since any of us talked to the rest of the crew and we do have the twins with us, I'm honestly surprised the captain and nora have gone this long without checking on them "you mean there's more of you?" Nova exclaimed, "yep, me and my three Aunts, the twins and nora are the Captain's family, and there's eight original octonuats" I explained, listening off the crew has become second nature to me "you should probably call them on your little nuclear thing there saber" kwazii said once more, nuclear? Really? Whatever "saber to octopod" I spoke, not exactly expecting a reply, this jungle is pretty thick "barnacles here, how's the exploration coming along saber?" The captain asked, still got a signal, that's supersizing "well, we found totem" I replied, "I hear a but coming" barnacles responded, "totem had company" I started, hearing a gulp come through the radio I instantly knew who the captain was with "are you alright?" A gentle voice asked, "yes peso, totem has a compound fracture in his right leg but I took care of it" river answered proudly, "do you need any help?" The Captain questioned, I paused to think things through
That's when it hit me like a smack in the face, there's a chance I know who Carmen and Nova's captain is, albeit it's a very small miniscule chance but a chance nonetheless. Why did I not think about this sooner, I have half a mind to mention her name to see if ethier Nova or Carmen says anything. I feel like I'm working myself up over nothing and- "saber can you hear me?" The captain's voice brought me out of my thoughts, "yes captain, can you have dashi locate us?" I requested, "of course, dashi I need you to pinpoint Saber's location" he ordered, "sure thing captain" the tech responded, "very good, send me the route, we're headed out to the island to meet up with kwazii and saber" barnacles explained, I swear this bear is a mind reader sometimes
