chapter elven: (part 1) the cat and otter

(one week later)

(Shellington's pov)
I was busy in my lab when I felt a paw on my shoulder, I jumped slightly at the sudden physical contact "it's only me shell, you should change your catchphrase to jumping sea otters" saber teased, "I'm not jumpy, you just find very convenient times to come up behind me" I responded with slight annoyance in my voice, saber just laughed "what are you doing with these shells?" She asked examining a purple one, I can't quite tell her yet but luckily I didn't have to come up with an excuse as dashi barged into the lab before I could say anything "dashi what's wrong?" Saber asked concerned, "I've lost contact with the captain and kwazii and I don't know where they are" dashi explained frantically, "dashi, sound the octo-alert" saber ordered, dashi ran over to the labs control panel in order to go through with said task "octonauts to the HQ" saber added, she sure is a lot like her uncle barnacles

(After the crew got to the HQ)

(Saber's pov)
"Saber what's wrong?" Peso asked worried, "we've lost contact with kwazii and barnacles, dashi is attempting to track them down as we speak" I explained, "I'm not having much luck, they must be too far out" dashi said turning around in her chair looking more worried than before, "then we're going after them, Shellington peso to the gup-c" I ordered, we ran to the octo-shoot and headed down to the launch bay, I hope dad and the captain are alright

(Shellington's pov)
"Tweak, open the octo-hatch" saber said, "I'm on it" tweak said pulling the lever, saber certainly has the captain's leadership skills along with Kwazii's attitude and confidence, she's a fierce pirate and a brave octonaut, I can't wait to give her the surprise I'm making for her, I think she's really going to like it, I do hope kwazii and captain barnacles aren't hurt but that's all the more reason to find them quickly, there's not a second to lose
