(Saber's pov)
"Come on matey, he's waiting for us" dad said, whose he I wonder "chill out, I'm coming" I said with a laugh, we climbed up the ladder to the tree house "wow, this place is cool looking" I said turning around to face dad, "I'm glad you think so" said a voice I didn't recognize, "who's there?" I asked trying to sound confident, "don't worry saber" the voice started, how does this scallywag know my name? The source of the voice appeared in the doorway "I'm Kwazii's grandfather, Calico Jack" the pirate cat said, wow I've heard a lot of stories about this guy but I never thought I'd be seeing him in person
(Calico Jack's pov)
"So this be me great granddaughter" I said looking at me grandson, "Aye" kwazii responded, "Kwazii's told me a lot about you" I said turning to saber, "really? I'm really not that big of a deal" she said humbly, "oh nonsense, you saved my life, how could you not be a big deal treasure?" Kwazii said taking a knee to be on Saber's eye level, "saved your life?" I asked confused, saber began to tell me the story of how she saved Kwazii from drowning
"Wow, you did all that yourself?" I said impressed, "yep" saber said proudly, "and if she hadn't I wouldn't be here" kwazii said thankfull, "just doing me job as an octonaut" saber mewed, "aw you always say that me little treasure" kwazii said, "well it is my job, it's your job too kwaz" she said as she placed her paw on Kwazii's shoulder, "you can say that again little matey" kwazii said with a laugh, "saber" I said, "yes, you need something?" She asked, "no but I have something for you" I said, I handed her a spyglass that looked exactly like Kwazii's with the exception that it was black instead of brown "awesome, thanks" saber mewed as she hugged me, "I've got me own spyglass now" she said excitedly as she flipped her eyepatch up to test it out, I just laughed, this kitten has a lot of energy, I don't know how Kwazii's able to keep up with her "oh that reminds me" kwazii started, "I have something for you as well, I actually intended on giving you this sooner" kwazii said, he pulled out a gold coin "I found it in that shipwreck before I got knocked out" kwazii explained, me grandson is quite the treasure hunter himself
(Kwazii's pov)
I handed the coin to me daring daughter "I told you I'd bring you something back from that ship" I told her, she smiled "this is cool and all but I'm just happy I was able to get you back from that ship" she said looking up at me, she's right, I would've been a goner if she hadn't a showed up "your right there matey" I responded, saber may only be a kitten but she's also a pirate who knows how to handle herself in the ocean, she's also my little hero
