(Barnacles's pov)
Kwazii and I were in the HQ when saber came out of the octo-shoot "there you two are, breakfast is ready" she informs us, "alright treasure, we'll be there in a minute" kwazii responded, saber nodded and back flipped into the octo-shoot she was standing in front of, "are you ready for this matey?, after last night I mean, how do you feel about talking to your mom and dad?" Kwazii asked turning to me, "well we're not going to mention last night first of all but I believe I can handle it" I explained, "if you say so captain" kwazii replied, we're leaving for the anarchic today, I imagine my parents won't want me to leave but as an octonaut I travel a lot, I enjoy it through, traveling all over the world and making new friends along the way, I wouldn't change it for the world
Kwazii and I headed to the kitchen "ah captain barnacles, I was just explaining our next trip to Blake and Beatrice" Professor inkling informed me, "do you have to leave?" My mum asked turning to me, "don't worry, barnacles will always come back to visit, besides he really enjoys all the traveling him and his crew do" Bianca explained with a smile, "she's right, I was a cargo ship captain for a long time, I've traveled a lot in my life" I added, "a cargo captain?" Dad asked, I forgot they don't know much about my life, I'm 30 and I lost them when I was 7 "that's right, I was the engineer on the same ship, that's how cap and I met" tweak explained, "aye, isn't you're guys birthday coming up?" Saber questioned, "indeed, Bianca and I will be 31 next month" I remarked happily, mum and dad looked somewhat socked "wow, I didn't think we'd been gone that long" dad said surprised, "time flies doesn't it Blake?" Mum said turning to him, "I'm just glad, you're both doing well" mum mused, just then we heard something hit the octo-hatch
"What was that?" Ursa asked as her and Orson held on to each other in fear, "I don't know but I intend to find out" saber mewed as she walked towards the octo-shoot, "kwazii Peso and I are right behind you, octonauts let's do this" I ordered confidently, saber jumped in the octo-shoot with me kwazii and peso right behind her, we made it to the launch bay *bang* "arr, there be that scurvy noise again, captain permission to open the octo-hatch" saber asked curious, "permission granted" I responded, saber flipped the switch and to my surprise it was a narwhal but not just any narwhal
"boris" I exclaimed happily, "you know him?" Mum asked from behind me, I turned around to see my family and the rest of the crew had followed us "I've known boris ever since I was a cub" I explained, "indeed, barnacles is an old friend, he's quite something this bear, always a leader even as a young cub" borris added in his Russian accent, "who do these new faces belong to old friend?" Boris asked turning to face me, "this is orson and Ursa my niece and nephew, my parents Blake and Beatrice, Kateleen peace and ocean are Kwazii's sisters and saber is Kwazii's daughter" I explained introducing him to everyone, "I thought you and Bianca lost your parents as cubs" Boris pondered, "barnacles found them again" Bianca explained walking up next to me, "very good old friend, I should expect nothing less from you" borris laughed, "aye, he's our captain for a reason" saber mewed, "your right there, barnacles is good at what he does, speaking of which what do you do saber?" Boris questioned,
(Saber's pov)
"Your right there, barnacles is good at what he does, speaking of which what do you do saber?" Boris asked me, I do a lot of things actually, "well I'm a navigator and a mapreader for starters, I'm studying to be a marine biologist like Shellington as well as oceanographe like inkling, most of the crew says I make a good stand-in if dad and the captain are absent" I explained, "you're also a pirate like me" kwazii added, "yeah, that too" I laughed, "wow, you're a busy young lady aren't you?" Boris remarked with a smile and a laugh, "quite" I agreed,
"I've heard a lot of stories about you from the captain" I added, "yes, barnacles and I have helped each other many times, haven't we?" The Russian narwhal explained, "yes old friend, one time we came to the archic but the octopods engines froze and stopped working so I towed the ship with the gup-C, we had to break through a couple walls of ice before we got out into open water" the captain explained, we've had so many adventures aboard the octopod, it's nice to reminisce on old memories
