(Carmen's pov)
These octonuat guys are a little....strange to say the least, the orange cat looks like a pirate but that little black kitten looks almost identical to our captain. The captain had three kittens of her own, two girls and one boy, the boy calypso is the youngest with black fur and a dark gray muzzle, charcoal black fading into electric blue spikes. Penny the youngest girl is all black with a red fringe covering her right eye. The first born looked identical to saber but wasn't around long enough to be named, our captain thought about Rey but never got the chance to decide as our ship was raided by a scurvy gang of foxes and the first born has never been seen since

kwazii and I jumped up, aiming our swords in the direction we heard something breaking down brush...sounded more like multiple somethings actually, and these somethings were getting closer and closer until "captain barnacles" dad and I sighed, relieved to see our crew "papa" the twins exclaimed, running up and hugging their parents waists "boy, are we glad to see you me heartys" I remarked, smiling at the sight of my family "were you expecting someone else?" Barnacles inquired, "when we heard the brush breaking I'm not sure what we were expecting to be honest" kwazii chuckled, "this is totem Carmen and Nova" Oasis explained, pointing to each of them as she named them off "good to meet you all" barnacles greeted politely, extending a paw to Carmen who only stared creating an awkward tension in the air. Totem seeing this, took the Captain's paw and shook it "rude" I muttered, "I heard that" Carmen exclaimed, "do I look like I care" I spoke loudly, this could be going a bit better
(Kwazii's pov)
As the captain walked past me, he leaned in close "have they been at each other's throats the whole time?" He whispered, "unfortunately" I replied in a hushed voice, shaking my head in discomfort with the situation at hand. Nova hasn't exactly spoke to us much but when she does it's polite at least, but Carmen and saber really dislike each other. I love adventures..but I'm hoping this one is nearing an end..or at the very least I hope saber and Carmen start to get along a little. I'm getting awfully tired of all the arguing
